f1widow - hope things are being sorted now for your DS poor little chap, I remember well the bullying, hating to go to school, scared to tell anyone,
kathy - Pleased to hear the virus is on its way out. Glad the new sitting room is done, and with its new tenant(Louis) in occupation
May - love the links for the baby slippers and bootees, the caron cardi is in my fav's to do later;)
chalky - :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:at the all in black Spanish ladies on the exercise machines.
I aim to have a good knit/crochet tonight, because, in my WIP bag I have...
1 - sleeveless cardi for me
1 -square half done
1 -baby jumper with half the back done
1 -wristwarmer
and I still havent tried the sock loom Mum bought me for my birthday way back in November,
BUT.... I did clear up and tidy every bit of wool in the house and put all the same colours together, in bags so they dont get tangled up again. I really dont know how they get in such a mess
It took hours but I'm glad I did it now :T
I have missed loads I know so heres a big (((HUG))) for all of you

Good afternoon all.
Wet here too but the snow is still solidly packed on the ground  making walking difficult. Hopefully it'll be gone soon.
I have finished my Dad's hat that I cast on last night & it looks great. I made DS1 put it on, took a photo with my mobile & sent it to my Mum :rotfl: She wants one now in a heather colour wool I have

Hi there,
This message is really for Kathy, but so you all know.
I am not planning to add updates on here anymore (you might have noticed me posting less too), and am becoming more of a lurker. You have all made me feel welcome but tbh it doesn't feel the same for me to post on this thread anymore. Kathy you can remove me from the spreadsheet if you wish (I won't take offense lol) or leave me there if you want a complete record of everything that has been knitted during the time of this thread (whatever makes it easier/more sense for you). Will be reading and posting occassionally and may well bump into any of you who are on the Bonnie Babies forums, or Loving Hands forums. God bless everyone and please continue the good works with the knitting and crochet.

What a shame Orkney Star we shall all miss you but I know we are very grateful for all your contributions and friendliness and I wish you well in the future'
Kindest Regards Linda
Well the market was wonderful and I stocked up on all the wonderful veggies and have made 1 gallon of soup !!!!! Its that obsessive streak again!!
Also 2 vegetarian lasagnes.
They sell big bunches of chard here so I used all the stalks in the soup and chopped and cooked the leaves and used it to layer the lasagne instead of the pasta! So I am really chuffed and the freezer is filling up again
Thamk you to all for helping withe squares how I wish we could magic them to Haiti-- It is so terrible isn't it .We are so lucky!
Well plodding on with doggies! Love to you allTry and do a good deed every day.0 -
Orkney - as you know, I have pm'd you. We will all miss you and your contribution to this thread has been much valued. You can be assured of a warm welcome should you decide to come back - I really wish you would reconsider but understand how you feel.
Chalky - I bought loads of veggies today, too! We've run out of all the soup I had made and frozen so I will be spending some of the weekend making more. I so agree with you about Haiti - it's so terrible because it seems that nothing has been spared, so they literally have to depend on the rest of the world for help and support. The death toll is horrific - I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to be there right now.
I'm glad to hear that it seems that the snow is disappearing in the UK. You have all been through a rotten few weeks so let's hope that spring is not too far away.
Well, I'm going to try and get on with some crochet this evening but, lately, it seems that every time I try, something (or someone!) interrupts me.
Have a great evening.
