You can see she has snagged it already :rotfl:! I know she will ruin it with her claws but it was knit for her. If you can't have a fancy cushion when you're 16 - why not?!:o

Zippychick - that's a lovely cushion and you have every right to be excited!

Love the 'owner' by the way - very much like mine but a bit more white. Cuddly!

Thanks Jenny! Your wee one is gorgeous too! Mine had my heart broke last year as I nearly lost her, so she is now even more spoilt than ever!

Thoughts will Pam, Elaine and Sunny Girl.

Maytaurus - hope you have a good day today.

Zippychick - lovely cushion! Lovely cat!

Chalky - glad you are enjoying your new mattress! Yes, I am enjoying the new sitting room but I think Louis spends more time in there than I do! He's taken to it straightaway and seems to think we got it ready just for him!

Jacqui - I hope everything goes well at school today and that they give the problem the serious attention it deserves.

Not a bad day here today; hope the weather is getting better back in the UK.

I was hoping to get on with my own work but I've been 'labouring' for DH again.

We are hoping to book our ferry later on today. We plan to leave on 6th Feb and return on 16th. I really wanted to make sure we were both well before travelling - I would hate to take any germs over to the grandchildren. I am officially starting to get excited now and can't wait to see everyone. We will be spending some time with friends who are local to both the boys and their families, and some time with my Mum in Weston-super-Mud, but it should be more relaxing than our last trip when the baby had just been born, and we had a wedding to go to, as well! I shall make sure there's room to bring back loads of lovely wool!

Well, I'd better go and do something useful.

Hi everyone, raining here as well Mrs M so snow and ice disappearing at last - about time too - I got fed up of it after a week, four weeks is faaaar too long. If I wanted permanent snow I`d move to the North Pole !!!!

f1widow - hope everything goes well at the school meeting. Had similar meetings with the head when DD was in primary - `there`s no bullying in my school` said he. Fortunately I`m not the type to back down easily and when he realised that, he took it more seriously and got it sorted. Hope yours does too.

zippychick, your cushion is smashing and obviously your kitty approves too.

Well, the Chalky squares are getting to be my addiction. I think it`s because they don`t need too much effort or concentration. Once I decide which pattern I`m going to do, I just get on with it, and before I know it it`s ready for casting off. Simples.

Still cold and miserable here because of all the rain so I`ll be sitting knitting in front of the fire tonight as the young `uns are both going out, DS with his mates and DD has her work`s `Christmas` night out !! Late taxi service will be required I suppose and of course it`s the other side of town - but at least the roads should be pretty quiet at 1am. Lie in tomorrow I think.

Washing machine is on the final spin so better go and get the next load ready.
