    Indeed.

But you're missing what I'm saying. The way you worded your email was all wrong. By saying "independent witness" etc

Which is why you're now sitting there reaping the consequences........a petticoat which is unsuitable and a supplier who is going to ignore you for as long as they reasonably can brcause you've been rude to them.

PS. It would have been better if it had been checked over by my mother. She would have contacted the company for you and got you your next day replacement no problem.

And probably a bunch of flowers thrown in for good measure which is what she normally receives. It's not what you said, it's the way that you said it. It's a good life lesson to learn.
"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."

Except that none of it was a "good job" - just a complete disaster from start to finish lol :p

I'd just like to say that as a retailer myself, should anyone e mail me in any manner (cos we aren't all good at writing letters) as the supplier, Anne should have acted in a professional manner. She didn't. The customer is always right and deserves to have their complaint delt with in a professional manner not come back at the customer in the childish way Anne did.
    My opionion.

ETA. If your going to act like the customer (no offence Missk) then it kind of shoots any credability any retailer would have in my book. Keep a professional head about you at all times. The response Missk got did only one thing. Engaged in confrontational correspondance with a customer. Big no no. As a retailer, you bend over backwards, that's how I was trained. You certainly don't act like the customer (no offence again Missk!)
Problem now is many people don't get properly trained when dealing with the public. I was trained to deal with confrontational customers. You NEVER patronise and you never engage in an argument. Your job is to diffuse the situation and regain confidence from your customer. The supplier in this case hasn't done this at all so lost not only Missk as a customer, but any potential customers she may have recommended.
Unfortunately, this is the problem with e bay/internet shops. Many work from home and have no idea how to deal with the general public!!
