BT and Sky contracts - getting them then being told i cant have what i want

Hi. I hope you've got everything sorted now.

I have moved into a new build apartment and was really not happy about paying BT all that money just to basically flick a switch, in order to connect my phone line.

So after some investigating I went to Talk Talk whom were going to offer me £59.99 to install my phone line and £17 per month for broadband and phone.

I was quite shocked by the fact that other companies could infact connect my BT line!!

I then decided to ask Sky what they offered and for an extra £10 per month I could have Sky TV, Broadband and Phone. And the installation cost (for the phone line) was a seriously cheap £25. I also got a free Sky plus box and £50 M & S vouchers.

It does sound like you have been given some bad advice. I would personally call the companies involved, ask to speak to a manger straight away and discuss your unhappiness and disappointment in them and I'm sure you'd get some sort of refund (I am a serial complainer so I wouldn't stop till I got all my money back:rolleyes:).
