Coming off the pill...what to expect?

  • I have just come off the pill after 10 years and I have found my periods to be heavier than on the pill that's the downside. The upside...I feel more positive, more energetic and I have a sex drive back yay!

    I've found the same as Smartie. I came off the pill with great trepidation at the beginning of this year in preperation for TTC around now :D lol. I used to suffer as a teenager and was dreading it.

    I won't lie, it hasn't been 3 days no pain like some lucky women, but it has been bearable and not anywhere near as bad as I remember.

    Maybe we're just not able to cope as well with the pain as teenagers or we remember it much worse than it actually was :confused:

    Anyhoo, don't worry too much. Stock up on waterbottles and Ibuprofen and you'll be fine :D
