Coming off the pill...what to expect?

I have just come off the pill after 10 years and I have found my periods to be heavier than on the pill that's the downside. The upside...I feel more positive, more energetic and I have a sex drive back yay!

I've found the same as Smartie. I came off the pill with great trepidation at the beginning of this year in preperation for TTC around now lol. I used to suffer as a teenager and was dreading it.

I won't lie, it hasn't been 3 days no pain like some lucky women, but it has been bearable and not anywhere near as bad as I remember.

Maybe we're just not able to cope as well with the pain as teenagers or we remember it much worse than it actually was

Anyhoo, don't worry too much. Stock up on waterbottles and Ibuprofen and you'll be fine
