Lynz - I really like the idea of a tidy box towards lunches - so simple but it takes someone else to point it out! That way I can set aside what he has at his disposal for his lunches and then if he eats the lot, tough! Thanks for that! :D

Hahaha! Yes, I could see that might happen. I was whinging to my mum about it yesterday and she said "oooh he's a demon when it comes to food". I have made him a nice packed lunch today of a MASSIVE salad, two quorn sausage rolls and one (just one) packet of crips. Let's hope that's enough eh?!

Hmm, yes, 6.12 is a bit excessive isn't it. Trouble is, it's one of the only times of day when I can come on here without my boyfriend getting in a strop with me because I'm on here all the time (we've just had row-let about it now to be honest!)

I think a serious chat is in order and soon. He wants us to move in with his parents and whilst it would save us both some money it might cost me my sanity and will also mean I have to commute for nearly two hours there and two hours back. Also, I just don't think it's going to help him to take more responsibility for the situation he is in. He asked me earlier what his weekly budget for spending on himself is. I musy confess I was just plain stubborn and said "dunno" in the hope that he might come on here and work it out for himself, but no, that would be unrealistic wouldn't it.

I'm definitely running out of steam at the moment, both with debt fighting and with relationship building. However it is only four days to payday and 1st June is when I should really see some movement on my debts so I'm looking forward to that!

    Molanole,

If it's any help it has taken fro the 31/3 to get my OH to come round to the idea of the budgeting, him taking an active role in the finances etc...I've been posting the updates on my SOA thread.

So 2 months of seeing me in a state, the crying (me!!) etc and he's just beginning to ask to see figures, work out what's happening etc. I Hope that eventually your oh sees the light too. So difficult though.

Looking forward to seeing what you pay off in June! I love seeing what everyone is up to with their debt s- it helps a lot! I never thought I'd say that :)

Thanks Sea. I just keep on plugging away at it and hope that like your OH he will get there eventually. Things are better today as we saw one of his mates yesterday and it kind of helped to break the tension by doing something else than staring at each other for a change.

I think I just have to pick my moments really carefully and I'm not sure when those moments are but I will keep at it!

Thanks guys, you're all really supportive.
