Ooh virtual Jaffa Cake! Don't mind if I do! It'll stop me making a start on my lunch already... Damn job makes me hungry (probably should get back to it really...)
Where's the best place to start on all this money malarky? I haven't got debt (except student loan, and I'm still using that!) but I am saving to go wander round the world for a year, doesn't seem to be a board for that!!Saving for a trip around the world!Currently £5,000/£25,000Onwards and Upwards!0 -

Oh really? I am thinking of doing something similar in my living room - I love the colour in there (it's wallpapered, but it's a very neutral pale milky coffee/taupe colour), but Natasha drew on one of the walls, and I used one of those sponges to get it off, but it took some of the colour off too.
Maybe I will have a go, once I've finished my bedroom, the hall and staircase and the bathroom... _pale_"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Hi Peekaboo - not sure to be honest - there is a savings board here:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=17
A student board here:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=25
or you can post in the debt free wannabe board and ask for suggestions on how to make your budget stretch here:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=76
I am sure you'll find a forum that suits you.
Good Luck anyway - sounds fab.

What I did when I travelled was costed up the whole trip and broke it down into chunks of saving - so every £50 was another night in Hong Kong or two days in Aus...it really helped keep me motivated
There's a savings and investments board around somewhere too if you need an isa or something :cool:0 -

I cannot be put through to a manager/supervisor as they don't do that. They have to request one to phone me.
This guy says the quickest way to get anywhere is to send the form back.
He did actually say 'which we appear to have lost'.
That is outrageous - can't you get a formal complaint in. I would also keep in contact with you MP. And I would contact Martin to let him how the benefits system that is supposed to help people is leaving you in poverty - oh and maybe the papers?
You need to find the strength to fight them - not easy I know but it is money you are entitled to.
Oh and how was Brownies last night? hope they managed to take your mind off things for a bit.
Stang Strong.
