Thanks, My camel has got two humps (NatWest and BOS) and he's called Humphrey (Three claims). Just wondered what I will do when I get some cash back, never had any spare money before (Bank took it all).
The MSE site, staff and everyone in the forums are brilliant. Everyone contributes from their experiences and that creates a formidable power.:TIt is a Camels temperament that has truly endeared the camel to man.Docile and sweet under a caring hand. But stubborn and angry if ill treated.the camel both wins your heart and your respect.0 -
Humphrey is a great name for a camel - If you get rid of his humps I've always fancied a nice camel coat - i'm only wee so one hump might do0

Wishing you luck.:D:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0

Oldnthrifty I have just re-read my post & would like to make it clear that under no circumstances do I support camel hump amputation. I was just looking for the hair to make a nice coat. Camels are people too especially if the are called Humphrey0

Finatra, No problem.
I should also state that no Bankers have lost any limbs through the actions of my camel..Humphrey:rotfl:It is a Camels temperament that has truly endeared the camel to man.Docile and sweet under a caring hand. But stubborn and angry if ill treated.the camel both wins your heart and your respect.0 -
Just had a letter from Natwest credit review team, offering a review of my financial situation,if I think it would be of benefit.....mmmmmm.
Just wondering if anyone else has had such an offer during the reclaiming process, there is no mention of reclaiming etc in the letter.
I am concerned that if I do not accept this offer of assistance, it might then be used against me when the FOS gets involved with the reclaims.
I think I will call them and get them to change my account from Advantage Gold to current plus......that should save me a few more quid and show willingness to communicate etc....
Anyone got any views on this?It is a Camels temperament that has truly endeared the camel to man.Docile and sweet under a caring hand. But stubborn and angry if ill treated.the camel both wins your heart and your respect.0 -

Hi there,
With our bank we used to have regular reviews, this is normal, you go on your terms though.
If you do go and they do mention about the PPI, just make sure they don't try talking you into anything, and tell them you need thinking time, good luck and hope you hear of your PPI news soon.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi old & thrifty & my good friend Humphrey
This is just probably part of normal procedure - I think we all tend to think that everythinh that happems with our bank is due to the PPi while our claims are in
p.s I am going to fuertenventura on Wed - plenty nice sand dunes - would Humphry like a wee break?
I would be happy to take him or do you need him to keep spitting at the bankers0 -

PPI CCT :rotfl:
Everything is curteous and above board, Will post again when the PPI CCT reply.
Don't worry you will get there in the end0 -

They aim to complete the investigation within 4 weeks. Just in time for christmas maybe?:j
No further communication from The Natwest PPI Team, despite them stating four weeks to resolve the case.
Another payment for the loan goes out tomorrow so they will take yet another PPI payment while they look at the case.
I think it's very unfair that they take so long to correct their errors! :mad:It is a Camels temperament that has truly endeared the camel to man.Docile and sweet under a caring hand. But stubborn and angry if ill treated.the camel both wins your heart and your respect.0
