I don't running to the moderators if someone calls you a "silly girl" is really necessary! I imagine the mods are busy with the trolls to waste too much time worrying about childish insults like that. If you take insult to what some random person (whose never met you) on the internet calls you then you've got more serious problems than this forum can help you with!

On the topic at hand i tend to get the Sony inner ear earphones for about £25-30 from Argos, they last barely 6 months but i like the sound quality so i've paid for the replacement cover for when they break on me again! £5 earphones are ok but the difference is noticeable if you pay just £20 more so its difficult to go back down to a fiver.

I'd just like to emphasise the obvious efficacy of reporting posters like me to the moderators.

While you are right and its not the worse thing in the world being called names on the internet, but why should people have to accept it?

People come on here wanting advice and as soon as their is any conflict in opinions, the mud slinging starts.

But you have to admit the mudslinging was aimed at someone who wasn't answering the op's question and in fact was ridiculing their choice of earphones. They weren't helping the op and so should be open to whatever comes their way.
  • I had some i pod earphones when I bought my i pod..they lasted about 3 months and then broke the same way all the others did. A fiver is about all they are worth for the amount of time they will last. For £35 you are paying for the brand and the packaging!

I have had my iPhone earphones for almost two years now and they are still going strong today!
