Our 'benefits' system is so f**ked up. I think Martin needs to read some of the things that happen to people in crisis and get on to it....seriously, some of these people are at the end of their tether, suicidal even...I know I was when I couldn't get through the red tape of beauracracy!

Yeah the house thing is stressing me out - let alone trying to deal with the benefits thing - I can't really face it today. Being on hold to them with that horrid music makes me cry - I find it really stressful. I don't even want to be on ESA I want to be on JSA but apparently I can't access the support for people who need extra support in the workplace without being on ESA but the change from JSA to ESA has now meant I don't get any money - even though I was before as ESA have now decided I don't have enough NI credits?
Mind you I am in such a state with the house hunting that I need to be signed off anyway.

mm Jaffa cakes - my favourite. Yay.. Ahhh and a rose - how kind. Feeling a little better - glad I'm off to the docs later though. So glad they fitted me in.
I know - poor Bookie it is aboslutely ridiculous - I honestly think Martin should know and kick those ministers - she can't be the only one in that situation -even if he can't intervene in her case directly.

Well done DF. If you look after your physical and mental health, the rest is so much easier. I'm not just saying that, I have been right on the verge of depression myself recently (after being clear of it for 3 years prior to that), and it was taking small positive steps that has pulled me back and made me feel in control again.
Pick one thing you can do today to help your situation - fire off some emails? Contact shelter? Get the property paper and have a look what's on there?
Don't they advertise property to let on Gumtree? Have you looked on there?
Sorry if you've aready done all that, just trying to think of something achievable and positive you can do right now, to make you feel a bit more in control."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
Passing me around like a piece of meat! Tsk tsk. And all I did was offer jaffa cakes and a rose to make Miss DF feel better.

Hahaha, well I have pledged to stay single for 12 weeks, so he's no good to me other than in a jaffa-cake-providing capacity, sadly!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
