  • Morning all, hope everyone had a good weekend :)

I'm very sleepy. Weekend was good although the walking had to be cut short because it was much tougher than we were expecting it to be - not helped by having to find our way through cloud and mist first thing! Didn't fancy being in the middle of the hills in the dark so had to head home early. Was good fun though, will definitely be doing some more :D Spent yesterday mostly collapsed on the sofa and could really have done with a lie in today.. yaaaawn.

Thanks Spud, I do feel more postive this week.

I would definitely get to the docs if you're not feeling right - you've had quite a bit of stress recently, maybe you need to get that man of yours to pamper you for a bit.

He made me a brew before he went to bed. Does that count  :D

  • A/L have agreed to put me on a severe hardship program at £1 a week and suspend interest, charges etc. They want me to set up a SO. Is that ok?

    That's good news Bookie :)

Bookie I had a thought the other day...totally random but have you thought about working as a book rep?? No public to deal with but still book related...dorling kindersley always seemed to be good to their reps...
The book reps were being cut down like mad this year.

At least it is one sorted.

Right, I need to do summing about my weight. I know I say it every week, but getting desperate now. Maybe the weight issue and tiredness.headaches are related :o

I bought the SW magazine at weekend. Just making a list of ingredients to get so I can make some of the recipes. Do any of you SW experts on here have any tips?

I might try reading the thread on here, but it's over 100 pages long

  • They have just phoned.
They say they have not received the form about my mortgage protection policy. I know they have because the returned the copy of the insurance documents. He says they have the insurance policy but not the form. He will send me another one.

I give up. I can't cope with any more. I just don't know what to do.

I sent it in 3 weeks ago. If a bit was missing why didn't they let me know? And why did they say that a decision was about to be made 2 weeks ago?

What you want to know Spud
Try and have stuff that everyone will eat, doesn't have to be different but just cook it in the SW way. The meals I have and really enjoy are

SW Chips (peel cut into thick chips and par boil 4 mins, shove in hot oven with loads of fry light) egg and beans

Roast chicken SW roast pots and loads of veg

Chicken Curry (this one is on the SW website)

Spag Bol (use chicken Bovril instead of stock cube and put onion etc in)

Cheese topped Sausage & Veg Pie....delish with loads of fresh veg on side

Shout if you want any other recipes. I still keep to a budget of around £50 a week and just adapt the food.
