Oh for when I am rich - I will buy some nice houses for people to live in - with double glazing, and not riddled with mould with manky ceilings etc.

Bookie - I can't believe they've @rsed it up again! Stay positive, it will get sorted.
DF - Have you spoken to your landlord to ask if there's any flexibility in your leaving date? Has notice to quit actually been served? Good luck at the Drs.
Spud.....headaches and tiredness.......hmmm....you're not pregnant are you?;)
I saw 9 part time jobs advertised when I went into town today...typical really....if DH wasn't so poorly then I'd apply."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Thanks everyone - no the landlord served notice about 2 weeks ago (well he tried) - hand delivered by letting agents, we then pointed out a couple of errors and the fact they had our addres wrong, new copy sent (lost in post), another new copy sent (lost in post), went to letting agents who printed off another copy of notice to quit (still with errors in it) -took it home - discovered errors , refused to sign it so ammended it by hand then letting agents refused to sign it as address had been amended (not out fault they got it wrong) - in the end we signed the original one that was still wrong - we know it's wrong, they know it's wrong but hey we can't be bothered to argue with them anymore
house is under offer - not sure how far further than that it is - don't really care.
We are not going to be homeless as we have some savings and OH has a job but we just want a nice house- saw perfect house then lost it as landlord gave it to someone else so just gutted now, really gutted. Have seen 9 properties so far. It's just the looking on the internet, registering with the agents, getting the bus there, faffing around, getting back home etc - it just seems to take every waking minute at the moment - either looking on the internet or viewing or tidying and throwing stuff out or packing etc, etc and we don't have a new house so can't organise family to help with the removals, vans, new council tax, changing bills over etc, etc. and 'tis a bit early to do too much packing really.
We just can't really do anymore - have loads more websites to look at and papers to look in but just exhausted with it now.
Am going to have the day off today - chill out, head to the docs and start again tomorrow I think.

I think this is what you need to focus on. There are positives here, it's just hard to see them when you feel like you're fighting and not getting anywhere. There's no shame in talking to the doctor about how you feel though. As people often say on here, if you had a broken leg, you wouldn't hesitate to go. So when your head is the thing that's feeling bad, why wouldn't you want medical advice and any necessary treatment."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250
