    Morning all (just)

Happy birthday fedup - hope you have a wonderful day.

Sorry I haven't been about to catch up on all of the goings-on this week again - thought things may have got a bit easier at school now I've been there 4 weeks, but they haven't. I've not taken any books home to mark this weekend (managed to get most of the maths books marked before I left school at 6pm yesterday), as I've got a stinking cold again. My colleague didn't fancy marking the writing assessments this weekend either as she's not well either, so I guess we'll have a lot of work after school next week as they are due in on the Friday. I've had more trouble with the management at school and came home in tears again on Tuesday. My part-time colleague spoke to the in-school union rep about my treatment the other day, and he's told her that I can always come to him if I need to sound-off to anyone, as I can't go to my mentor as she's the assistant head. Got my membership card through from the union this morning, so I feel a bit better that I have something there to support me if things become worse or more serious. I've got my first lesson observation on Monday first lesson with my bottom set maths group, so I'm not looking forward to that! Still, at least by being the first one to be observed, I'm not going to have anyone else's standards to live up to (4 NQTs in my school including me).

Off to have a nice hot shower in a minute and start meal-planning for next week so I can do the food shop. Think I may do a HHC before I head out, so look out for it everyone! I think it'll be the kitchen and I will try to get a star.

Hugs to all who want or need one, particularly to johanne's BF's baby, toots' nephew, and mudbath's DS.

Congratulations to pigpen for doing so well at uni, and to greenbee on the new job. Enjoy Florida, and send some of their sunshine back here please. Hope the flight is ok for you.

Hugs to LadyL - thinking of you. They have a TENS machine coming up in Lidl if that is any use to you?

Take care everyone, and look out for my HHC.

    sexymouse xx

I hate packing  but it does make me realise the point of ironing... the ironed stuff fits in so much more easily!

It's still relatively warm where I'm going (20-22C) so I'm sticking with summer stuff. I think I can stick to a brown/cream/pink theme for daytime stuff and mix and match. Mind you, it's only 4 working days, so 2 skirts & two pairs of trousers should be fine. I just hope the dress code isn't different...! I'm taking a selection of tops so I can dress things up or down. Plus a completely different dress/cardigan just in case. And I guess I should take some jeans too. Oh... and some shoes...

What I really want to wear on the plain is my scruffy tracksuit bottoms and my slightly grubby pink ugg boots with a t-shirt and a fleece... but I don't think they'll go with my smart laptop bag and handbag... I'm stuck on what to wear as I'm sure my feet will probably swell and I don't want to find I can't walk in my shoes at the end of the flight! Maybe jeans & trainers, with a t-shirt and fleece, and then a smarter top to change into...

I hope it's not going to be this hard work EVERY time, or my life will be unbearably stressful!

Maybe some smarter ugg boots would be the answer :D

Bedding washed, and handwashing almost done. Free[STRIKE]cyc[/STRIKE]gler asked to collect today and has now gone quite when I want a commitment to time - I think I'll plan to go into town around 2ish, as I need to pick up a few odds and ends...
