Any suggestions as to a. what to wear/take on the plane so I arrive looking respectable to meet my boss and b. what to pack for a 4-day business trip, bearing in mind I'm training with colleagues not seeing clients, but will be having meals in the hotel with my boss! I'm hoping to have room for gym kit and swimming stuff so I can spend most of my spare time exercising or sleeping!
A girlfriend does this frequently - same flights too - will ask and post her answer idc.

She doesn't work for a US research company in Egham as well does she?!

greenbee - I'm not an experienced international flyer (in fact, I HATE flying) but one of my SiLs is. She regularly does long haul flights and ALWAYS changes into some sort of loose fitting track suit type thing (but knowing her, it's bound to be Designer!) the minute she gets on the plane. She then snuggles down to sleep and changes again just before landing.
Wishing you the best of luck and good wishes and hope your week over there goes well.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thanks soappie! I hate flying too... the flight out is a daytime flight so I'm planning on keeping awake by reading lots of stuff in preparation for the training, interspersed by some italian practice, possibly an italian book and some trashy novels!0 -
Oh dear, no flying again .... although I have managed to do the dishes and empty the bins and put the dustbin out this morning. It's the end of my first week back at work for four months and I'm shattered!
I won't get the silver mule, will I?:(
It took me ages to work out that it was a shoe and not a donkey :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope everyone is ok tonight. People's lives are so complicated.Aspire not to have more but to be more.
