Just a quickie to say I won't be around for a few days. I ended up calling an ambulance last night because DS became so ill. He was taken to hospital and sedated as they couldn't control the pain. We still don't know what the problem is. I've just come for a few hours sleep whilst my DH is with him. Just wanted to let you know so you don't worry....saying that, you'll probably worry anyway now but at least he's in the best hands. They're probably going to transfer him to a children's hospital tomorrow.

    Love to you all xxxx

Will be thinking of you, Mudbath.

    morning everyone

just thought I'd say, i'd like to join in, if you'll have me.

I'll be away from tomorrow I'm away until the weekend, I think, so i would be better off starting next Monday - see I'm already putting things off :D
I thought if I make a commitment to do it, I can't back out.

So, I just copy & paste the 'to do' list from the first thread each day, then cross off what I've done - that's what you do?
    :hello::hello:

Sorry for not posting sooner, manic at work, and today I feel really grotty, like someone has punched me in the ribs, bit of sniffing/coughing, tummy doesn’t feel right and I just want to put me head on my desk and sleep, but we have ENORMOUS windows as an EA so everyone who walked past would see me!!

Don’t all faint at once – but I am claiming THREE STARS. WTG ME!! A blooming miracle as I am usually carp. I had a busy weekend, MIL got married for the third time on Saturday, Sunday food shopping, clothes washing etc and finishing the painting in the hall, stairs and landing. I had Monday off for the carpet fitters to lay new carpet in the above mentioned, so cleaned like a nutter to get the stars and also had slow cooker with oxtail and veg in and made curtains for the hall window. Also sorted the shoe cupboard with DD1 and through loads/rehomed etc, so we can actually see what’s in there now. It was harder than being at blooming work, but so worth it.

    [STRIKE]Tuesday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs[/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]Wednesday~ Master bedroom and landing[/STRIKE]

Zoe – glad it went well at the court. Poor you since then and poor DS, hope fingers aren’t hurting as much today
Mudders – sorry DS still not well just seen your post- MASSIVE coping/healing vibes sent to you and yours
ANW’SMum – well done at the stone masons
WILF – you make me feel kn£ckered just reading what you get through!! LOL
Toots – so glad new Mac house is brill, any news on your nephew?
SarahSH – well done on the extra hours
Soappie – job hunting vibes sent your way

As usual I’ve missed loads of you out, so sorry. Love and hugs to all that need/want them

    Hi folks

    Ironing done yesterday.

Just skimmed the last 2 pages only sorry....

Anwmum, Well done for thinking about a headstone, I just don't know where to start for my mother, I was looking online this moring for ideas, I don't think mum would want a traditional headstone as such, so looking more at the granite stones that have one smooth polished surface that is engraved and then set in gravel on the grave.

Funny that, she left very good details for her funeral, hymns, prayers etc etc, even where in the grave yard she wanted to go, but she ended up in the right place but in the new grave yard, yet she left nothing about a head stone.

    hugs xxx
