Friend phoned and said could she come in for a cuppa, so good job I didn't go to pilates :o:p

Dusty - hope you feel better soon. You've been out of sorts for a wee while havent you? I look forward to hearing about your fitflop boots. Did you not like your MBTs?

Thanks sweetie, you're right I have been a bit off colour and I hadn't noticed as I have some days better than others I think it is either my cycle (which has been a bit all over the place) or my IBS is not great at the minute. I think I'll start taking my friendly bacteria capsules again and my vitamins. I loved my MBTs but they were hurting my bunion toe so podi recommended I stop wearing them, hence the sale and the ordering of the boots.

It went really well thanks, a lovely counsellor who didn't have to do much to get me on the right track. It was her that set me off to grieve properly then recover and get on the right track for the future. I am glad I have completed the sessions, I have 2 spare in case I need them (I don't think I will) I feel on the road to recovery where this is concerned and that is a nice good positive feeling. It is up to me to keep progressing on this path now.
:Twell done you have come to far xx

    Hiya
Just a quickie to say I won't be around for a few days. I ended up calling an ambulance last night because DS became so ill. He was taken to hospital and sedated as they couldn't control the pain. We still don't know what the problem is. I've just come for a few hours sleep whilst my DH is with him. Just wanted to let you know so you don't worry....saying that, you'll probably worry anyway now but at least he's in the best hands. They're probably going to transfer him to a children's hospital tomorrow.

    Love to you all xxxx

Oh Mudders poor wee thing. I hope they sort out what is causing the problem and fix it real quick. Love to you all

Cuppa and then living room - kids will be helping :rotfl:

Thanks for all the positive comments re the headstone, kawz I had some brochures sent in th post then I could browse when the mood took me. I know what you mean about choices, it's mind boggling. Some of the websites are awful, make it feel very impersonal and production line like. Miss A was adamant that we didn't have a 'boring' stone! With prices running from £400 to £3k + it's not easy.

soappie ~job finding~ vibes for you (kept forgetting to say this!)
SS great news on the extra hours :D
kazm ~coping~ vibes for you and DH
mudbath ~get well soon~ vibes for DS and ~coping~ vibes for the rest of you

General all round hugs to everyone else.

Mudbath, hope they find out quickly what it is and sort it out for your son. xxx

Sorry guys can't read all the way back so skimmed read as much as I could and promptly forgot what to say to whom....sorry.:o

London was great, a bit tiring but we did loads and I managed with my stick so all is well.

In true MSE style I had Merlin Vouchers for Tussauds and Aquarium, Food vouchers for meals out at Planet Hollywood and Spagetti house plus Premier Inn refunded us a nights stay as the air con was dusty so we couldn't use it and it was very hot in the room....how lovely are they? :D
I didn't even ask, they just said they had a good nights sleep guarantee and refunded.

Plus I had the family and friends rail card for the train tickets.

Think I've overestimated how good I've been feeling, feeling better isn't feeling 100% fit to return to work  which is for some stupid reason I was thinking of doing next week. However I've been told NO by our HQ as I'm clearly not ready plus my doctor has to declare me fit to return. Oh well.

So decided to try and get some of those long outstanding jobs completed and my lovely hubby has finally after at least 2 years at last fixed the missing floorboards on the landing so I can look at getting some carpet for the landing and the stairs.:j

My friend has also said she'll come over and help me decorate which is great....I may finish the hallway off that I started some time ago. Some of the older members may remember me starting this job off and in true Triker style...not finishing it.:o:o:o:o

Flying wise today I have hung some washing out and I'm about to unpack our cases and get clothes put away.

    Toodles for now. xxx

DS3 has gone from not wanting to dress up for Roald Dahl week to wanting me to create Willy Wonka! Flying suspended for the foreseeable future.
