Evening everyone. Work is progressing on the bathroom. It was a bit manic this morning as the electricians were here too. Its old wiring that was in there so he has rewired. But tonight the back wall is done, shower tray in and underfloor heating in. Tiles will go on tomorrow.

Tonight Ive done the benches and floor in the kitchen and washed and dried all the dishes. Vaccumed living room and tidied. Got a load of washing in.

Soappie Good luck with the floor.
Greenbee Glad you survived your first day.
Toots The new place sounds lovely.
    Mudbath Hugs for you all.

Feeling better today, so managed to get all that done, and also a little bit of gardening. I decided to remove a large shrub from my winter border, as it is huge and suckers everywhere. I cut all the top last week, and started trying to dig round and remove the roots today - I think it may take me all the rest of the autumn and winter....Or maybe I'll just pay DS2 to do it;)

First half day of my new timetable tomorrow. I should be back at lunchtime, so will have time to fly and maybe do a bit more digging.

Lovely to hear that your first day went well greenbee! I was thinking of you and sending good luck vibes.

Love and hugs to Lady Liberty and Toots.

And to all the newbies - :hello:welcome! If you are struggling, then go for half hour challenges, and a major emphasis on decluttering. You can't clean properly if you're snowed under. Don't feel that you need to do it all this week. All the rooms come round again, and you'll build on your progress. And don't imagine that we're all on here because we're fabulous at housework and love doing it - quite the contrary! Although today the downstairs looks almost respectable, so you'd be quite welcome to pop in. But not upstairs.:D

:hello:as well to all my flylady friends!

    Hiya

Glad you had a good day Greenbee.

I've just loaded the dishwasher and put a wash on.

DS has been in pain again for the last hour but it seems to have gone again. I know children are resilient but it's been going on for two weeks now and he's exhausted. I really, really, really wish it could be me instead of him.

Right, time to stop getting maudlin! Nice bath and a book me thinks xx

I finished work really late tonight (got in an hour ago) and have a whole day away tomorrow so I won't be flying until Thursday when I need to do everything

Have caught up with the thread but not sure I will catch up today, if I do I will have about 36 hours worth to catch up on!

    See you all on Thursday.

One child bathed and in bed.

Other two are doing maths homework together!

DH has landed so he'll be home in a couple of hours.

I'm going to finish in the kitchen and then soak my feet and see if there is anything on tv.

Sounds brilliant Greenbee - do they need any extra staff?

Probably... but they'd expect you to leave the seaside occasionally and go to london and even nastier places!

Mudbath - just in case it is an kidney problem, is he drinking lots? Last time I had a kidney infection I juiced lots of frozen cranberries and drank the (very) diluted juice which helped a lot with the discomfort, as did potassium citrate (the liquid, not granules/powder)

OK... I need to make some supper (chicken broth with tofu, noodles & spinach) and also salad for tomorrow lunchtime (I have salad stuff in the fridge that is nearing the end of its life, and lots of chicken in the SC!). I think I also need to meal plan so that the fridge is pretty much empty and everything else fits in the freezer by next Sunday!
