Actually you're wrong. I've seen typist jobs advertised on guardian jobs and monster

Do you mean jobs like audio typist/copy typist?

The OP would need to have quite a high typing speed for this and sometimes they ask for a particular qualification (I think it may be RSA?)

Thats the only job I could think of off the top of my head.

very few jobs today without social interaction.

takle the problem first hunny then take a steop at a time . It may be worth having a chat from someone from mind.. just a suggestion ...or pop along and talk to your gp about it .. you could ask for an early appointment so you dont have to interact with many people .

I agree with some of the above posters that you really do need to seek help for your social phobia problems. This is nothing to be ashamed of, it is an illness / disability and like any other needs good professional help.

I feel you need to work towards a more "normal" job but forcing yourself into one at the moment may not be good for you.

A start may be some clerical work that you can do from home, perhaps meeting up with the customer / employer once or twice a week. Gradually you may feel you can deal with other people in a small group and make steps from there.

Talk as openly as you can to your Doctor about these issues. They see many peolpe with similar problems every week.

    Not anti social - sensitive.

Ignore the hostile posters here, they have the bigger problem in that in their minds it's acceptable to treat people that way...

One poster made an unhelpful comment - don't exaggerate!

Longer term, could you look into qualifying as a librarian? You would have to deal with people, but in a calmer environment than, for example, retail.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
