Hi everyone! I have been very bad for the last week or so- had a few days away and ate EVERYTHING I could lay my hands on! I am ashamed to say that I have been the same since since I came home. But I am gonna be good from here on in -I started today and will endeavour to keep it up. Have only eaten at mealtimes today and had a quick trot round the park just a it started to get dark with hubby-it was lovely but bloody cold!! I will get back on the Wii tomorrow- I PROMISE!!
Glad to see that everyone is still doing well!:Tlovin' this site!

I've been thinking about getting a wii fit plus for the family this christmas but can anyone tell me if it 'weighs' you or if you just enter your weight. It's just that I don't really want my weight displayed for all to see everytime I use it lol.

I know with the wii fit you can key in a pin number so that you can do it when no one is there. You don't need to weigh yourself each time you do the activities either but you don't get a stamp to if you don't (This is for the wii fit not wii fit pus)January Grocery 11/3740

Papoosue I know what you mean about the weight issue, and I was worried about that too. But everyone has their own 'Mii' (little character on the screen to represent you ) So in order to see your weight they'd have to use your character. And as MOJT said, you can pin protect your weight.
Hope that make sense.
Did a pooch stomp round the park today. But no Wii. My friend's coming over tonight tho, so we'll do some later.

Thanks SarahShattered and mumofjusttwo - I feel a bit happier about getting it now - I know it maybe sounds silly, but my oh would just make fun of me if he actually knew my weight and I can do without that! I'm assuming that if someone wanted to use your character they would still have to use the pin to see your weight (IYSWIM)?
I take it you two would say the wii fit is definitely worth it? I need to have a proper look at the fit plus and see what it's all about too.
Thanks guys. :-)SarahShattered wrote: »Papoosue I know what you mean about the weight issue, and I was worried about that too. If someone were to use your character then the would need to know your pin to see your weigh.
I fyou have someone round to play you can just have them as a Guest A, B etc so won't need to use yours. If they play any weight dependent games such as balance games etc then it 'weighs' the person before playing. If there is a large difference between the Mii person and other person it asks you if you wish to use new weight. (I used to have this when myself and DS would play). I would suggest that if you think someone may comment to set up another me. Very and you can set it up to be left/right handed. Please note that on the Wii fit it doesn't display the weight when playing the games.
I love it . I haven't done mine today but have walked about 2 miles. Not much but much better than nothing and normally I would have taken the car.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Had a 45 minute walk with the dog today and did 32 min on the Wii- have thus far managed to keep my food intake to "normal". ( I am not doing WW's but am trying to aim for an intake of 18 points a day).
Ashamed to say I am off to bed in a bit cus I am knackered (!) -didnt sleep very well last night for some reason (might be the thought of starting to exercise again and limiting my grub!):rotfl:lovin' this site!

I really like the wii fit plus. It transfers all your data from wii fit and you can set yourself a calorie target of what you want to burn, i.e packet of crisps at like 200 something calories and then after each activity you do it tells you what calories you have burned and how many more to reach your target.
The marching one is a bit difficult to grasp as you have to get the rhythm of your march right and then watch the wii remote and wii nunchuk falling and move your arms at the right time when they drop into the circle targets. But i do like it as this is my 3rd day owning wii fit plus and i'm only 2 pts away from getting a perfect score on it.
I soon clock up 30mins on it, whether thats because its something new or not, we'll soon see.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160
