Sunny Sunday 27th Daily Chat - Come on in for a natter

Morning Everyone

Yep its me, up early again on a Sunday morning, although its beautiful out again and I should be going for a run but I might go a bit later as Ive got settled on the sofa listing some bits on ebay, then going to finish some bunting Ive been making. Think I will also take B to the beach for a run around and an ice cream if it stays nice :)

So whats everyone else up to today?

  • Its daft o'clock in the morning, and so far I've had a shower, put the breadmaker on and taken the stuff out of the freezer for dinner.

Today is a 'sorting stuff out' day - getting together all my paperwork ready for meeting tomorrow; getting craft things together ready for Christmas cards and working out what I am going to make for Christmas presents this year. Problem with making presents, after a few years you run out of ideas! Have done the cross stitch coasters, fridge magnets etc made chocolates, hand made fudge, shortbread, jewelry, soap.......

I've got £25 worth of e-vouchers from Lightspeed so may use them to stock up on candle making stuff as haven't given those for a few years.

And I fixed the washing machine so that can do its job too!

GS sounds like you are a craft extrodinaire! I am only aiming to make a couple of gifts and the rest will have to be bought (although only out of money I make on selling stuff). So I am aiming to spend nothing at all on Christmas this year..we will see!

I go through phases with the craft stuff but have always given hand made presents. Even in the days when I had cash, would give a bookmark or something along with regular present. Problem in our family is we've got lots of boys, girls are easier to give hand made stuff to, boys don't really appreciate candles and SOAP!

Friends get quite disappointed if they don't have a 'crafty' present.

Oh the bliss of those quiet times before feeding. Now I get sleepless nights as mine is out on the town and I can't rest until I know he's safe.

    Daft!!

Although its hard having to go back to looking after a three year old and a baby...

Is Chloe good with him, or does she get a bit jealous? Good boy sleeping all that time all the same!
