    Anyone  ?
Please..... Computer is still crashing when I try Malwarebytes and the uninst.exe message still pops up
  • If you try this (Google Pack) and download only Spyware Doctor and run a full scan with it it. I found it helped when I had loads of viruses.

    Obviously, update before you scan.

Can you go into the event viewer and see what's actually crashing your computer? Do you have any Minidmp files in C:/Windows/Minidmp?

Try allowing it, you dont appear to have a virus.

Well Superantispyware did remove 2 Trojans earlier. If that's not a virus...

It's possible that other stuff is still on there that's just not getting picked up.

Try running MalwareBytes in safe mode - you may have to uninstall/reinstall it if it is corrupt. Sometimes viruses can stop it running properly, and safe mode will stop most things from loading

SAS removed them. There might or might not be a further infection, OP can't run Malwarebytes without crashing the computer. UNINST.EXE in general isn't a virus and is a normal valid program. Let it run then do nas much security related stuff as you want.

    This was running after all.

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\issch.exe
  • But there has to be a reason why Malwarebytes won't run. That isn't normal. Most likely a virus is still lurking around stopping it from running.

You could well be right but not everything is down to viruses. The OP could try running it in safe mode.

Something not installed/removed right could cause the instability.
