Saturday/Sunday 26-27th weekend - What small DFW things have you done today?

Hi everyone - lovely sunny day again.
Linz - I was reading my library book last night which had some great homemade hamper ideas e.g. give red wine and a pouch of spices to make mulled wine, homemade jams and chutneys, pickled vegetables, flavoured gin, christmas cake are a few ideas. I think this book is great. It is called The Christmas Book by Sheherazade Goldsmith, if anyone fancies getting it from the library too.
Today
1) B is going to a party and taking a card and present from my stash.
2) Sent two bday cards from stash.
3) Taking T to Adventure Wonderland using season tickets.
4) Storecupboard meals.
Not sure what else yet. The kids are staying at my Mum's tonight, so T can have a practice run, as they need to stay there next month when we go to a wedding. This is T's first sleepover so I am a bit nervous.
But OH and I are going to make the most of it, we just need to decide where to go - for about 23p!
See you later, L x0 -

Afternoon all!
haven't been around for a few days due to school/uni/getting married in 7 days time:eek: - who thought that it was a good idea to give up work, start a teacher training course and organise a wedding all in the same month? Oh well, this time next week and I'll be 30mins off saying "I do"! It should hopefully get a bit less stressful then!
Anyway, today's little list...- Walk dog for free exercise
- Been to Mr T's and was fairly controlled(!)
- Having hair cut and dyed at 2pm
- Will take book (new Dan Brown) with me to stop me buying a mag to read
- Staying in tonight - have sweeties and wine and the dog to keep me company
- Change beds
- Wash x2 and dry on line
- Put dry washing away
- Clean bathrooms
- Clean car
- Do a bit of uni work (if I can be bothered - plan to spend most of tomorrow doing it)

Today I have:
Gone to see my nan and had breakfast in Wetherspoons
had a brief look around town and brought nothing
Did some housework
Checked online bankingNo you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
woo hooooooooo!!

Successful shopping trip for my 80s extravaganza!!
Spent just under £15 in Primark and Peacocks and bought:
luminous green legwarmers
luminous pink tights
luminous orange vest
luminous green belt
luminous pink belt
bluey/purpley/floaty puffy sort of miniskirt
green & orange eyeliner
What a combination!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Still need footwear, lace gloves and beads, they had gloves & beads in Claires but for silly money, so hoping to find somewhere cheaper. They had some amazing pink or white stilletoes in Primark, supposedly in size 8, but I am size 8 & couldnt even get them on!!!!
So I am pretty much sorted, now need to work on DH!! He is not into dressing up that much, so I am thinking ripped jeans, but what on top? Any more suggestions from you wonderful clever people!!
Have a great evening everyone, sofa and X factor for me!! :T:beer:0 -

Evening all,
Quite a busy day for me,
Took little one to the library and got him some books.
Came home and made some biscuits (which my suprise came out fine)
Tranfered the £7 i made of ebay in to bank account, for the Xmas /Car Mot fund
Was hoovering and the on switch broke so i asked my ex if i could nick one of the spare ones we used to have and she said yes, so i took the faulty one back to homebase and got a refund so an extra £34 to go in to the Xmas / Car Mot pot....
£41 in one day in the pot iis good enough for me.
And a NSD aswell.0
