they say they have the power to remove driving licences , freeze bank accounts, and comit people to prison but they have to apply to the court for this . these are just scare tactics and blatant lies

You are spot on !!. They give the impression that the NRP have no-where to turn and these things will happen if they don't deal with them immediately. This means many NRP's are living scared and frightened, much of it is down to CSA maladministration. The CSA were under huge pressure by the government to reach targets, so they incentivised staff with bonuses to get cases sorted. Much of these cases are many years old and now because they have only retreved around 10% of the millions of debt, they are now introducing even tougher measures. They use some kind of motto its "for the children", what they fail to us is many of them are now young adults.

If the job had been properly down by the CSA in the first place, they would not be chasing now.
  • The sad thing is that they are to stupid to realise that it is them causing the problems
I only speak of my own experiences. and research that i have carried out whilst dealing with my own case with the child support agency

Here's a crap scenario my daughter is 18 years old is living in my house because my X threw her and her young son out on the street. and i am paying my X £430 a month for the child that lives with me now and was in my familys care from when she was 12 years old apart from a period where i made an application for the child benefit book when that happened my x asked her to go home .
