Do the DWP allow you to give information out while advertising that you work for the CSA? i know that HMRC do not. You do not have the authority to access any files so how can you give out information.

I'm sure your aware of the data security that was spread across all departments?

Im not trying to cause fights I just don't think that this is right!

As long as they keep themselves anonymous, I can't see the issue with giving out information. It's no different really to the ex CSA employees who help on here.

  • I can just add a couple of mine

Why do the CSA issue letters warning NRP's in some cases with figures of around £10,000 or more, to pay within 7 days by credit or debit card with threats of having driving licences removed or possible prison sentences if they do not comply, Without knowing what the history of the case and presuming all NRp#s are guilty?

Why do the CSA not have the same case worker working on a particular case?

Why is it, the CSA do not keep to within the 40 days guidelines when sending out Data protection Files?

Why do staff not read the evidence of the files?

Its not advice nikk it just answers to the questions i have about my CSA case , I have been fighting it for 4 years and to cut a long story short the child support agency keep running away from the facts and passing the buck to other offices . i would just like to know why.

Something else that really annoys me is when you get a warning letter and a DEO dated the same day and land on the mat the same morning, you dont even get chance to respond oh and yes i have a couple of these aswell which i have forwarded to my MP to see if he can shed any light on it.
I only speak of my own experiences. and research that i have carried out whilst dealing with my own case with the child support agency
  • sorry one more, no more questions after this.

Why do the CSA say NRP's have 2 years to pay off any debt and say that is the legal requirement, when in fact this is NOT the law

I'll try my best to answer any queries you have and I'll try answer any rumours you may have heard too.

Try to keep them brief though! :)

Just wondered what the procedure is on claiming back dated money, my ex partner is on a protected income but owes £7k, in certain circumstance can the CSA pay me this and recoup the cash from him?

    Thanks

Here here the hole organisation is goverened by statute legislation and can only be enforced on those that consent to it . WELL SAID:T

There is the odd agent scattered here and there that will give answers to general questions but nothing related to individual cases.

To be honest the procedure for clerical cases and non-clerical cases do differ quite a bit and i'm not really trained to know the ins and outs of how a non-clerical case works.

If you paid the money directly to your ex partner for the child then i can't see why it would be a problem. Problems do start cropping up if you pay directly to the child though i believe.

So are you saying that the case has been running for a long time without your knowledge and you were just happily paying the money directly? I suppose it would just come down to whether you can prove they never notified you. But I'm purely speculating there.

sorry mate. but you're full of it.

you work for the csa about as much as i do.

    the word is "busted"
NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.

and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.

If true, here is a simple question

Why would an arrears case from CSA 1 be sent to Jobcentre Plus in 2009

Case closed 2005.. the Case is on a IMA, it is not because i did not comply

I think I can answer this one, though purely an educated guess... some job centres have a csa department. Normally it is where compliance inspectors are based, as they have to be all over the country to do face to face visits. Is it possible your case has been transferred to a compliance inspector as you have not supplied all the info they need in order to convert your IMA?
