this website is an inspiration to me and I'm changing so much in my life as a result
my Mum is a great one for planning and making menus ( although she does her's 6 months at a time ) she doesn't work and hasn't ever really worked so that helps
I on the other hand work nearly 27 hours a week , run a house , have a handmade card business, a hubby who works 2 jobs and 2 grown up children still at home so life is chaos
but I've got to organise my life so making a meal plan is all part of it so here goes
Monday - a mini roast as we're not having one today as I'm having new wooden flooring fitted in my bedroom ,
Tuesday - is always burger and chips
Wednesday - my daughter cooks, this week its chicken kiev, jacket potatoes and veg or coleslaw
Thursday - sausages , mash , veg and gravy
Friday - meatballs and pasta - made loads up the other week , had some left so they're in the freezer and just need reheating
Saturday - hopefully at my friends for dinner
Sunday - chicken casserole in the slow cooker0 -
Just finished this weeks meal plan which is mostly a storcupboard challenge.
Sunday.... Roast lamb, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, mediterranean veg, corn on the cob and yorkshires. Apple crumble and custard.
Monday... Braised steak with mashed potato, carrot, parsnip and peas.
Tuesday.... Hotch potch from the freezer. I have frozen single portions of lasange, mince pie, shepherd's pie, curry, sticky chicken and steak and kidney so everyone can take their pick.
Wednesday.... Sausage, mash, peas and sweetcorn.
Thursday... Halibut baked with feta and tomatoes with salad.
Friday.....Spagetti bolognese.
Saturday.......Chicken escalopes with baked potato and salad.
Lunches will be HM veg soup from the freezer, sandwiches and couscous with tonight's leftover roast veg.

Kitchenbunny - the most adventurous I have been with hm pizza is cheese, tom & ham, my oh would love your meat feast pizza - the meat toppings are they pre-cooked or put on raw and how long would you cook it for?? Many thanks.
I put them on raw except the BBQ pork - the oven should take care of the rest. As for the shredded BBQ pork, I did a shoulder joint in the slow cooker the other week - the leftover meat I mixed with BBQ sauce, split into portions in little bags and froze for the pizzas.I mix a carton of passata with garlic and mixed dried herbs for the sauce, too - mmm
Hope that helps
