    This week we are having:

Sunday: lunch at inlaws (great because I don't have to cook, but it also means I don't have any leftovers to play with!)

    Monday: Beef casserole with dumplings

Tuesday: DS2 has a hospital appointment in Swansea so we'll be eating out somewhere along the 2 hr drive home

    Wednesday: Pork and Parsnip Cobbler

    Thursday: Bangers and Mash

Friday: Minced Beef and Onion filled Yorkshires

    Saturday: Takeaway Night.

ooh forgot puddings: will be making plum crumble and apple cake (both to last 2 nights). Also making corned beef pasties, twinks hobnobs and welsh cakes for lunchboxes.
  • I've never posted on the OS board before, so "Hello :hello:"

My meal plan is as follows:

Fri 25th - Bangers (quorn), mash, peas and onion gravy

Sat 26th - Beef stew (50p stew pack from Morrisons :T) with homemade bread

Sun 27th - Roast gammon joint (local butchers), potatoes, carrots, swede, peas

Mon 28th - Veggie burgers (OS recipe with lentils), wedges, baked beans

Tue 29th - Macaroni Cheese (will use left over gammon to add a bit of flavour)

Wed 30th - At Dad's for dinner (FREE FOOD :D)

Thurs 1st - Quorn chilli with baked potatoes

Fri 2nd - Home made pizza! Yummy!

I am absolutely loving creating meals from what we have in (although I doubt the rest of my family agree, lol). So all I need to get for this week's dinners is the veg and the gammon joint! :T

    Thanks for the inspiration! xx

Saturday will begin our "clearout" as we leave on holiday for 2 weeks on the 9th so will be using up as much as possible and only buying per day what absolutely is needed. There is much that needs to be gotten through the following week to make room on our return for a mixed order from the butchers.
