Don't get too excited. It was on for maybe half an hour, back off again now. Very frustrating.

"Working fine" for me, depending on how you look at things

I can log on for the first time since Friday morning, but can't actually view any of my external accounts - which kinda defies the point of using their Money Manager thing in the first place

Also defies the point of using an online bank whose website never bl00dy works

I'd been having problems with Egg site too, not been able to get on since thurs or Friday.

Tried various things but this link here seemed to work about 5 mins ago after failure everywhere else https://new.egg.com/security/customer/logon?URI=https://new.egg.com/customer/youraccounts

I had been going in on https://www.egg.co.uk/ as per my bookmark/last address in the address bar and had no success.

Just wonder if it could be something as simple as old bookmarks/links need updating?

    Hope this helps someone.
    Egg @ 3.9% until 1/7/06 = £1798

    MBNA @ 0.9% until 1/9/06 = £8768

Debt free aim March 08 if not before

For anyone who wants a more reliable 'Money Manager' - I can reccomend https://www.ewise.com.au/accunity/aa/home.asp - first found out about it over a year ago on here, and have had no problems with it, but none of the posts seem to be turning up in the forum search :/
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":

Been down all weekend. Managed to get into my account today but a couple of transaction I expected to see on there haven't appeared yet.

They're probably going through some major overhaul or something, and it's overshot slightly. I can't recall ever having problems with their website up till now
  • I can log in but it says there have been no transactions since your last (13 APRIL) statement, when I know for a fact there has been. This is for Egg Money, the other Egg card seems ok.

I have been having problems with Money Manager on and off for at least the last month. When it goes wrong, I can't seem to view my external accounts.

spoke to the guy today at Egg. Yes they have obviously had major problems over the weekend, but they have had they all clear now he said.
However I pointed out that my statement for Egg Money is supposed to be out on 12th May, but is not visible, so he had to read the items out to me over the phone. Very polite and friendly, and suggested that it might be a couple of days before the statement would be visible. i said how frustrating it has been since we could neither go on line or ring them, however he said that even though it says no phone calls, they are there and can provided you with a limited service. He also reminded me of my anniversary month with Egg Card, but told him with such high balance transfer fees, his card was no longer attractive. He did point out that sometimes they offer special promotions to individuals whereby BT fees were waived and noticed that I had indicated that I did not want promotional information passed to me. So I changed my mind and said if there was a chance of no fees, then send me your junk mail!

A poster on the Stoozing forum was lucky enough to get one of these emails:

I'm also in my anniversary month, Egg junk mail is turned ON and fingers crossed :)
