  • tell him that it is plain and simple....the car is registered in your husbands name and as he is not on theliability order they can not levy against his car.
    if they dont remove it you will file a complaint to the court about him using form 4.

    Sorry, I only have a bit of support to offer, not advice. :A

    But looking at the replies you have had here, there is sound advice. Stick with it!

    I have had dealings with 2 bailiff companies - both of whom came to my old business premises and levied goods. They wrote a list and I signed it, accepting that they could take the goods if payment wasn't resolved (I had no choice to let them in as it was a shop!)

    They both got bored listing stuff after a while so only went away with a fraction of what they could have listed. After leaving the premises and informing them that I couldn't pay my outstanding liabilities, I told them that the goods they levied could now be seized. They are still there after nearly 6 months. :confused:
