oh my god brilliant website
everyone dealing with bailiffs needs to see this
thank you0 -
council phoned me today and said my local councillor had phoned them i said i'd phoned him this morning and he had told me that he had been in touch with the chief executives secretary and i had to wait for her to call me as she was looking into the matter.
he said that there was nothing he could do until i had paid the bailiff fees i said i had paid 1st and 2nd charge and a levy fee but was disputing the enforcement fee of £130 as they had not removed my goods
he said that that was for the van to remove my goods regardless of whether they did or not and i said that that was the same day as the 2nd visit so they were in effect charging me twice for the same call
he said i needed to speak to the bailiff and told him they would not talk to me. he said he was going to get them to call me tomorrow
is there anyone who can clarify where i stand and if these charges are legal and binding.
trouble is this years council tax is due end of month if i have to pay £130 enforcement fee i won't have the money to pay my normally council tax for this year.
please can anyone advise0 -
