I'm a May 1st 2010 bride and i have everything organised due to the fact I was due to get married on Sept 5th 2009, but had to postpone due to fire at venue
Though, having said I have everything - I may have to get another bridesmaid dress and shoes for my 12 year old daughter, the rate she's growing!
Hels x
Anyway Hels - Yay! date twin! (Although sorry you had to postpone.)
Venue booked & deposit paid (same for ceremony and reception)
Registrar booked and notice given.
Bridesmaids decided and best man too although H2B is dragging his feet regarding the ushers
Found photographer - newly qualified but excellent
Dress chosen, H2B looking so won't share. Milly quoted, Landy can't do. Found headdress too.
BM dresses - seen on Landy but Milly also has the same. May wait & see what dress is like before ordering.
Theme - seaside. The hotel is on the seafront and already has decorations/pictures etc in a sailboat style so why not?
Invitations - we drew our initials and the wedding date in a heart on the beach & took a photo. Design graduate friend is using this to create an image to be used as postcards from VistaPrint :T
Nearly decided table decorations. Small white shells as table confetti, small starfish too. RNLI shop has toy wooden sailboats which we will use as table numbers. Put a number on the sail, or give each boat a name.
Cake - err, inspiration has failed me so far...
Entertainment booked - we have booked the artist who was playing the night we met. We still need a DJ though..
Favours - found favour boxes for 20p each, plan to use Guilyan chocs also looking at rock slices.
Flowers picked at Brides Dreams.
Readings and music chosen, readers picked.
First dance song chosen but we need to learn how to dance to it, or it will be the dreaded "roundy roundy dance" :rotfl:

d) All of the above? :rotfl:0 -
I'm getting married on 11th May in Sorrento, Italy :j
So far everything is booked, all very simple - no bridesmaids or best man to worry about. No grand reception just cocktails and canapes with a few close family and friends overlooking the Bay of Naples. Then meeting up in the evening for a meal
Having an Italian themed party when we get back to the UK - this is all booked for 22 May.
Got my dress from Debenhams.....but have already lost 2 stone so its going to have to be altered, got shoes and jewellery. Not fretting at all as there isnt much I need to do :j Need to get rings and sort h2b out with something to wear.
Total cost inc UK party will be about £3000 so not too bad.
Heeeeeeeeeee am just really excited now and cannot wait for that Italian sunshine and hospitality:smileyheaGot married in beautiful Sorrento 11th May 2010:smileyhea0 -

Hi another May bride here Sunday the 2nd for me.
I am scared now i really dont feel organised after reading all your posts, our venue is fantastic in the sense that our DJ and flowers for the tables are included in the package.
But there is so much else to do:eek:! We know what we want for a lot of stuff its just a case of actually doing something about it!
