((((Hugs)))) from me too! Hang in there... you are making progress!
Have you worked out how much interest you are saving by OPing? Have you looked at what a £5er a week does to your MF date? A small amount can make a huge difference over time!
OPing my mortgage by £5 a week would mean I'd pay it off 1yr and 9 months early saving me a fair amount too!
What about drawing up a table of boxes corresponding to a set amount eg £5/box with a target of your choice between now and when your fixed rate ends? Colour in each box as you have paid another £5 (or whatever you choose) off! I find it really motivating and you can see at a glance you are doing something even if it doesn't feel like it every day...
Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Stacey, you are doing really well, just remember that the longest journey starts with the smallest step.
I can only afford to pay about £40 a month off my mortgage but that's an extra £40 that I will NEVER have to pay interest on ever again. :j

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I've got a spreadsheet in the shape of a house split into boxes which represent a certain amount and I colour a box when I put in that much to savings.
