Well my update so far is i am still managing to keep my shopping bill at around 40 pounds a week which isnt bad for the three of us.

My xmas shopping is going really good managed to get most of the nieces and nephews done using dooyoo which im really pleased at.

Also if seen any bargains along the way ive picked them up. I got the young one a 12.99 top gear model book in our local B and M for 2.99. Bargain like we say peeps every little helps.

Im in a lovely mood today hopew everyone else is too x

I agree that B&M are great for bargains as I have recently bought at least 4 different toys and pyjamas for my daughter for his christmas.

Good morning, well done on starting Xmas shopping I'm just trying to out some money aside and saving vouchers earned from surveys. I'm going to start at half-term, I actually have a week off so after recovering from the marathon I'm off shopping.

Full of cold but happy today, have a lovely day!

fantastic, that's the one thing about my mortgage which is a pain I can't make any payments online I have to phone or send a cheque. Although saying that I think I might be able to set up a standing order...

    *off to check!*
  • evab - u made me chuckle then
  • well ive actually managed to get through a saturday without spending a fortune under a fiver to be exact.

I struggle to limit my spends at the weekends as we have a stepson and my partner likes us to take him out and about when we have access so that means eating out then watever we pick up along the way.

So feeling pleased and feeling like im in control

Hope everybodies had a great day too x
  • Good Morning All

Having NSD today on my quest to be able to pay more on my mortgage.

Although am going to have to buy more ceramic pots tomorrow as my boy has manged to smash one, these things happen i suppose.

Done myself a meal plan for the week to also help with my quest of saving money.

Still feeling good in my quest and have not lost my enthusasm (if thats spelt right) like I have in the past before.

Hope you are all well today and big hugs and good luck to you all.:j
