Never been to a Waitrose before.

I've used their delivery service once and found it to be reliable and the quality of stuff at Waitrose is very good. However, they are that bit more expensive than Tesco. I've had a problem with Tesco this week and wanted to use Ocado for a change, but looking at the prices, I am waivering.

    They are good though!

Well tescos don't have hardly any vegetarian stuff online, less than they do in the store itself and my daughter and grandaughter are vegetarian so I'll see what ocado have to offer. If its easy to use money off codes I'll likely try them. I don't think they sent me any money off encouragement though to try them with this mail though
    Thanx

They're very reliable but certainly more expensive and their online range isn't as wide. The food is overall better quality than Sainsburys or Tesco.
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

Totally agree with this comment, I've used them once.. very expensive IMHO and also limited choices.. very posh stuff though!

Oh and lovely colour coded plastic bags! lol! orange for cupboard, purple for fridge... etc. etc. (now you really needed to know that didn't you? ).
  • I love Ocado. I love the way they deliver in one hour slots. I love their website, which I find easier to navigate than the others. I love the food they bring. True, it's not as cheap as other places, but you get what you pay for. Give them a try - I don't think you'll regret it.
  • I love the convenience of it all.
    Very reliable, very good services.
I compared the cost against my sainsburys reciept once, and it was more expensive in sainsbury.
In London the bread is always really poorly dated, use same day sort of thing.
    Otherwise I love ocado

    :)

I've used them a couple of times. The food quality was wonderful. They use different coloured bags to identify whether frozen, chilled etc. Delivery lady was really helpful and insisted on bringing right into my kitchen! They were more expensive but if they're reliable maybe worth it. I've had numerous problems with Tesco. I don't think I've ever had a delivery without having to phone afterwards about some problem. I still use Tesco though cos of Clubcard vouchers!!!
