I would leave it Kayleigh, you've moved on and have more important things in your life than a few pathetic people who have nothing better to do than make a few childish comments. If you react, they'll probably get a kick out of thinking that it's bothered you.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

Oh and I was sooo ugly at school, straighteners didn't exist then and I wore national health specs and was very flat chested....
its amazing to see what the 'beautiful' people look like now....:rotfl:
Oh gosh if I could find the school photo from when I was 14... sooo spotty and skinny :eek:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Kayleigh, he is so not worth your time, effort or worry. Rise as far above it as you can and take heart in the fact that you have moved on and he blatantly hasn't.
Either that or spread the rumour about his teeny tiny willy

oh Kayleigh that's horrible. I think you should tell us who he is
I'll send him a message telling him what an ugly @rse he is.
You do know the problem is with him don't you, you are lovely.
I don't feel great right now, I'll admit. I'm shaky and I feel like I've never done anything worthwhile with my life, but that'll go. I know it's not true, and tbh, part of me wishes I'd kept him on my friends list. That way, he could see the pics of me with my gorgeous bf and the friends I've made at uni. Go for it, flame him to death: http://www.facebook.com/search/?q=jack+willan&init=quick#/jack.willan?ref=search&sid=645444188.2766105613..1
I've got to go pick up my car from the garage now, the flaming fuel gauge went the other morning. £101.60. Buy a Moggy Minor, my dad said. They're cheap, he said.

I know the feeling Kayleigh - I had a fall out with a couple of ex-friends (well never really were friends in the proper sense of the word as I discovered eventually) a few years ago, and quite recently I found a few comments they'd made on FB about me on a mutual friend's photo album. Got the old shaky adrenalin rush, want to cry/ shout/ fight back/ make some smart comment... but I knew from past experience that reacting would just give them something new to gossip about and start playing silly games again.
Anyway, if he can see your profile pic he will be able to see your gorgeous BF - I assume that's who it is with you?!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
I'm not surprised you don't feel great. I was really badly bullied at school as well, moved away from my home town as soon as I could and was terrified of coming back for years.
I eventually had to move home for health reasons and I found in the end that it wasn't so bad. Even when I bump into the people who used to bully me, it is hard but it's not insurmountable.
I find focussing on all the positives the best thing - your friends, bf and family who love and support you and try and leave these things behind.
You'll find this idiot one day in a situation where you definitely have the upper hand and it is a really good feeling!
Good luck with the car xxLBM 17th August 2009 Debt at LBM £18,612 Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
@ Maz - Yeah, it is.

Tbh, I think deleting him might have been a bit stupid and immature. It looks like I'm still running scared and I'm not. I've changed so what have I got to hide? By taking him off, it makes it look like he still bothers me. I'm tempted to add him again. I'll have a think about it on the way to the garage.

Bit soon to write yourself off spudly...it could just be the shock of running after a while....however, that is no reason to ignore pain.
I don't know enough about knee pain but maybe becky could enlighten you if you describe how they feel.
When I started running I had painful knees but it seemed to be like puffy hot knees....it calmed down after a couple of weeks...I just feel very old to be honest, really achy knees and hips.
It's early days I suppose, a bit of a shock to the old joints. I'm not giving up, I just cant imagine ever getting from this to being able to run properly if you know what I mean.
I'll keep trying, maybe give it till Chrimbo and see if there's been enough improvement to feel able to sign up.
Spud - I had sore knees when I started too...
Its because your muscles arent adapted to running - can you do some prep walking as well as running - its will develop the muscles without putting so much strain on the knees (less weight forced through the joint because of the lower speed)...0 -
Spud, hope your knees get better soon.
Kayleigh, I'm so sorry to hear that. Is he still in Scarborough? Both me and sister have found that the people who stay there are really !!!!!y about people who've left, if you've done anything to better yourself then you're not welcome back there.
I've just got back from Otley. Have to go again tomorrow, and remember to take my purse then! Have told sis that I have to go, not sure she realised that meant that I might not be around to be her taxi driver when she gets back. She gave me two choices of when to drive her back and I told her which one's best for me, she said she'll try and be ready then. Er, no, either she's ready then or she gets the train. I AM going to the car boot on Sunday, I want to look for the last few xmas presents I need, and it stops sometime in October so I wont get another chance.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Yep my knees bothered me when I started too - they're the one thing that very rarely hurts now though, thankfully, guess the strength has built up! Hope they are better soon Spud.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
