Some how the tin of christmas roses fell off the top of my wardrobe....rolled down the stairs, opened itself and made me eat some....honestly, these tins are cheeky little blighters.

Blimey.......it sounds like they have a mind of their own...:rotfl:Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Bit soon to write yourself off spudly...it could just be the shock of running after a while....however, that is no reason to ignore pain.
I don't know enough about knee pain but maybe becky could enlighten you if you describe how they feel.
When I started running I had painful knees but it seemed to be like puffy hot knees....it calmed down after a couple of weeks...
I just feel very old to be honest, really achy knees and hips.
It's early days I suppose, a bit of a shock to the old joints. I'm not giving up, I just cant imagine ever getting from this to being able to run properly if you know what I mean.
I'll keep trying, maybe give it till Chrimbo and see if there's been enough improvement to feel able to sign up.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

@ Lou - Good luck.
@ bookie - Forgot who said it, but get in touch with Martin, see what happens. You're one of his girls, you get priority.
Warning - Self-pitying post ahead!
A guy I used to go to school with added me on Facebook the other day. For those of you who've missed me previous self-pity/occasional advice on the topic, I wasn't popular at school and this was one of the lads that bullied me. He's not the first person who used to bully me who's added me so I accepted. I then clicked on his page, mainly to do the ex-bully check I usually do on girls (ie, how many kids has the sl*g got now?) and saw the following post: 'just found the greatest FB friend ever'. I clicked on the long list of comments and there it was: kayleigh buttface *****. (surname blacked for obvious reasons). I've taken him back off again, needless to say. Only thing is, the next two comments, from different people, both said "Can't believe you went out with her." Um, excuse me? No I didn't. I know I should leave it at that and not bother ever mentioning it again but I didn't go out with him and I don't want people thinking I did. What should I do?

oh Kayleigh that's horrible. I think you should tell us who he is
I'll send him a message telling him what an ugly @rse he is.
You do know the problem is with him don't you, you are lovely.:A

Kayleigh do not lose any more sleep over it.....hard as it might be please don't go there.....
Life is too short to waste your time on these idiots......let them talk about you behind your back...you know the truth.
Or you could post that you went out with him briefly but when you saw the size of his d!ck you ran a mile.....cos it was soooo small....
and then run away laughing.......Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford
