I'm always fighting a losing battle in my house - I always seem to have a pile of about 20 odd socks between the 3 of us.
Am I the only one? What do people do to keep the socks together?
Any suggestions appreciated.

My OH has a pile of odd socks too. I really don't understand why though, they go in a basket, get washed then don't pair up!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

I have a bag hanging up in the airing cupboard for odd socks. When it's full and I'm feeling strong I empty the bag on my bed and try to match them up.
I have found that it's easier to sort socks in the daylight. In some artificial lights I can't tell the difference between dark navy and black.0 -
I now buy my socks from Primark where they are so cheap that I don't need to worry about odd socks or mending holes - I just throw them out because life's too short!0

i got rid of all odds and started over by buying all same colour socks just asdas cheap ones .that way i never have an odd sock as i can pair it up with any one of the socks from the packet .:j0

I got a bag from a pound shop thats just the same as one of those nets that you put the washing tablets in but its bigger. Its mainly for washing delicates in but I just put all the sock in there and then they go into the washer like that so they all come out still in the bagWork like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0

I always have odd socks!
I buy the black ones with coloured toes/soles in the next sale to try and keep them in pairs. I still end up wearing odd ones. I think we have a sock monster!"No matter how little money and how few possesions you own, having a dog makes you rich." - Louis Sabin0 -

my kids socks are always disappearing in the wash.
I think that because they are so small, they may go through the holes on the washing machine drum. answer is to get one of those net bags for washing delicates in. havent quite got round to it yet though!0 -
Wow, you lot are organised, I just wear odd socks all the time, my boots do cover them up though.“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0
