  • sorry what i meant is i have rented the car and paid for it, but i know when you go to pick it up they ask for a imprint of a card
    and a friend worried me by telling me it has to be in my name but i dont have one


    so i have hired it and paid for it in my name

    someone keeps posting on MSE about a credit card that covers excesses and even CDW asked him a couple of time which one it is but no response :(

    I know american express travel insurance does it but its really expensive

    Sometimes I wish there were cards that everyone (with decent credit) could have..no matter what country you live in because the US has some good cards especially when it comes to car hire and the like.
    Thankfully! We got one recently that does cover the excess etc. when it comes to car hire but sadly it's for people who live in Norway otherwise I would mention the company heh.
    Eslick..have you asked this question (about "this" credit card you mention) in another section of this forum...having to deal with credit?
