I have changed the Weight document, it can now be editted by anyone. Please update and add more babies if you wish. Weights are done in KG, and please note the weeks column careful, as some early weeks are half weeks. Click on the tab at the bottom to enter weights:

Hi all
Been so busy with little one's social life that I havent had the time to chat for a while.
Monday - daddy had the day off so we went to Costco followed by the Post Office.
Tuesday - Leila had her first trip to the cinema to see 'Up'. It was a mummy and babies screening at the Odeon. She was very well behaved and slept for the first 30 minutes but gurgled and chatted at the screen for the rest. Followed by lunch and shopping with mummy friends
Wednesday - Baby massage with mummy friends
Thursday - Leila is going mug painting so we can get her footprint put on stuff for people's christmas pressies
Friday - Time for a rest
I'm trying to pack it all in before I go back to work in exactly 2 weeks.
Will try to be on here a little more but Leila's sleeping pattern seems to be messed up and last night she slept from 8pm to 12:30am. Then daddy decided he would bring her in the living room when she woke and it was then play time till 2:00am. We all went to bed then and she slept until 7:30am.
Boobies are getting less full and painful during the day now but i'm still able to feed her at night and early mornings.
(((Huggles))) for Nikki and anyone else who needs them.

Afternoon all..
:grouphug: to Nicki and *weight gain vibes* to little Edward (they worked for Rhys and Andrew!), :hello: to Feelie and workinmummy and general
to all.
Mum's gone off with a boot full of rubbish for the tip; the bathroom is full of things to go in the loft (the loft hatch is in there) and I have a pile of things to Freecycle tonight and a mountain of paperwork which is probably as tall as me if I dared try it!
Rhys has been an angel all dayI set his play gym back up (we've been taking the toys off and attaching them at random to his swing, pram, car seat and crib) and he's been loving that all day. Fab now he's actually reaching out with his hands and his aim is getting better
I tried up loading a pic to FB.. will have to check if it worked in a min.
ETA: It did work..http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/photo.php?pid=9339969&id=723825074 And for size comparison, this is him on the same playgym on the day we brought him home: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/photo.php?pid=7807294&id=723825074
And we got our first "baby-in-the-highchairs-on-the-advert" laugh earlierWas just bouncing him on my knee and he did it several times. Also, he has been manic smiling every time we say "bungalow"..

Thanks SB! I'm hoping to get out and about more ASAP, Ed doesn't feed so much in the morning now (when he's not throwing up!) so I should be able to fit in extra trips to boots, there's 2 small ones within 2 mins drive from MILs and one close o me so hopefully when its things like the right guard one I can hit all 3
Em - what about Bagpuss? have I told you IL's cats are Rufus and Cato (kay-toe not cat- oh as the french vet says it)

Keira got put to bed at 9, SHE WAS STILL AWAKE AT 12! So I didn't let her sleep in, I woke her at quarter to 10, and that way she should hopefully be tired enough by 9 tonight to sleep. She's sitting eating her breakfast and watching Casper the movie, she loves SCARRRRYS.
.
Buttons - sorry to hear that keira is playing up at bedtimes. Have you thought about waking her earlier in the mornings? I think that 9.45am is quite late to be getting up?But then that might be because LO wakes me up at 6.30am every day without fail! :rotfl:
All,
What's reasonable/practical as an approach to get toddlers (say 1-2 yr olds) to take their naps? When they're clearly tired and need to.
Controlled crying stuff is cruel too young, and ineffective too old... when do people feel it's OK to leave baby in their cot crying because they should be asleep?
have you tried a nap time routine like a bedtime one - say lunch, one specfic book read in his room, put in the cot and a song then leave the room - over time he'd understand the signals? just an idea - what fun we have to come! Glad he's looking brighter.grr hit enter and my post got posted before I'd finished!
Got some advice on feeding - typical that while I fed him at clinic he fed fine!!!
And guess who's having lunch?!! Jack screamed when I put him in bouncy chair, I left him to it, went upstairs and he suddenly stopped  Panic stations so ran down but no he's fine and actually seems to be enjoying the chair - success at last :j
oh and I had brekkie! My stomach won't know what's hit it!!!
Got half an hour before my Drs appt so will let u know how it goes!
well done on eating! my suggestion - do you like hummous and other dips? cut up lots of veggies into strips and store in cold water in the fridge. take a handful out and dip into your prefered dip when hungry - only uses one hand so good to eat when feeding and all ready prepared so fast as well;)r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
