  • Morning all!!

Swimming was fab :j:j although a complete PITA to get there for 9am, driving past 5 schools on the way  I have to say I am terrified at the way some mums just march their kids across the road (or leave the kids to follow them) and just expect cars to stop.

Anyway, the pool is tiny, above ground level (so the 'teachers' could walk all around it at eye level IYSWIM) and was really warm!! There are about 8 mums and babies there and tons of floats and toys and balls. Benjamin wasn't overly impressed by the seat-float because he couldn't get his hands in the water and splash so we put him in arm-bands and he loved it, chasing balls around the pool and generally being a slippery eel for mummy. He even did some floating/swimming on his back all on his own :T:T

They come around and take pictures and at the end of the 8 sessions you get a CD with all your pic on - how ace is that!!

Benjamin is now devouring half a toasted teacake after eating his lunch! He came out shattered and starving, bless him.

    I'm shattered too :o

That's great MFD. It's a shame that you can't take pics of your kids in the pool anymore so at least you get the option! I remember OH took Keira swimming when she was about 1 1/2 he's not that keen on water, his sister went too and she started taking pics of them in the pool, she got shouted at by the lifeguards for that lol.

And yes about the parents and kids, I see the kids at home time, and the parents are flippin' maniacs wanting to be the first out the car park, we have to cross the road to get home and NO-ONE will stop more than 3 seconds to let you nip across the road.

Then there is the other half of kids who are walking home at age 6/7, I'd never do that from where the school is based right now, it's along the buisiest main road in Aberdeen!!

fitzio - the slow teats have a 1 on and the varifow have a X

also the variflow r much bigger.

I need to start Jack back on the Infacol - I stopped cos of the Gaviscon but whilst it helps with the gagging it doesn't help for wind

I'm still in bed :o Jack asleep on my chest - not doing my pert boobies any good will end up with one droopy one at this rate! :rotfl:

Hmm, all of our teats have a 1 on them so they must all be slow flow then. But the box of bottles I originally had said they were variflow (99% sure!!!). :o Might have to go and buy some variflow ones then and check them out, thanks! Although Holly doesn't seem to have the same problems as Jack and Kian.

    How is Jack's belly button?

Also, another question from the novice to anyone more experienced....when do you switch to a bigger nappy size? As the sizes seem to overlap, I am unsure whether to move to size 2 Pampers. The size 1 are leaving marks on Holly's legs, but the size 2 look quite big. Not sure if the marks just mean they are a snug fit or too tight. She doesn't seem to complain but I don't want to hurt her!

    Thanks!

Fitz just try a size 2 and see how it looks, thats what I do :) I suggest moving her up as quick as possible because once she gets in sz3 you can use the cheaper super dry/baby dry/active fit/natural fit ones ;)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

I panicked when my mum requested to be my friend!! What can you do other than add her. If she is anything like my mum she will not really get it and never go on again after the first week!!

My MIL is also my friend :)
