With the skin on skin that they recommend straight after birth how does that work? This probably sounds really stupid but I was planning on going through labour wearing a old T-shirt and am now thinking if the baby gets put straight on me do I have to take my T-shirt off and expose myself to everyone?? Or should I just be wearing my old dressing gown so can just snuggle the baby inside? It was just one of the many things I have now started thinking about:o
Once you get that baby in your arms, you end up in this lovely little bubble oblivious to everything else that's going on, including your clothing (or lack of it!). Trust me - a whole carnival parade could pass through while you're laying there naked, and you won't bat an eyelid as you'll be too busy starting at your gorgeous bundle.
Can I ask a question for people with little girls? What are you all using as a word for foof? Husband and I can't agree on a name for it that's suitable for Molly's ears.
I was just calling them "bits" but Charlotte has started calling her bottom "big bum" and the front is "little bum"
I've heard the lady that I bought Bob from has a litter of puppies for sale. I'm going to see them tomorrow night - so excited :jHere I go again on my own....0 -
we have attempted to set ourselves up for a good night's sleep here by giving fergie a bath with me having a hot bath next to him IYSWIM, and a steaming bowl of olbas oil water in the room as well. We popped the dummy in as well to get him to inhale the steam nasally.
All seems good so far fingers crossed
Off to lie down for some lovely telly of world's strictest parents on bbc3 at 8:
'1/9 - Atlanta
Unruly British teenagers are sent abroad to live with strict families in an experiment to find out the right way to bring up a child. Bex and Chezden Dundee travel Stateside to get new parents in Atlanta, Georgia. They must spend a week living under the rules of the God-fearing Kimbroughs, a strict southern Baptist family. The Kimbroughs prepare a rules contract for the teens' stay that prohibits smoking, taking the Lord's name and demands a B average in all schoolwork.'

mMMM just ate the first risotto I've ever cooked, probably made it a bit too fancy because a posh internet recipe caught my eye (pumpkin, leek, spinach, garlic, white wine, parmigiano reggiano). But really it was excellent, I am quite proud of myself escaping my roots and cooking nice vegetarian meals
Probably not all that healthy given all the butter and cheese, but I tried!
I tend to think Elijah will get used to willy and penis interchangeably. We will see.0 -
