    Morning all.

Carla - that made me laugh!
MM - Jas's room will be lovely. She is very lucky!

I have now changed my daughter's middle name to Houdini. Holly Houdini. How does a 4 week old manage to turn back the folded scratch mitts on her sleepsuits within 1 minute of me fixing them?! She is self harming and has managed to draw blood on her nose and cheek! Nails need cut again I think.

i used those folded ones and they worked. but they were only the small newborn ones the fairies sent us.

fitzio - i was in shock first with disbelief and then managed to laugh it off!! I have a crazy child.

also, my son is coveed in clawmarks from him scratching himself, but like Holly cannot keep scratch mitts on him!!

    sounds familiar :o
have given up with scratch mittens as never stay on long enough.
was told to use socks as they are tighter and will stay on but havent tried it myself yet. Kian has a 3inch long scratch from his cheek into his hair  havent cut his fingernails yet as they are brekaing off themselves. but he has 1 long and pointy thumbnail that seems to do the most 'damage'. he looks like he's being fighting :eek:

very quiet this morning, elle must be having another lie in !!

:p I've been out of bed since 10am, actually! :D

Was going to go into town with Mum but decided I didn't feel like it when I first woke up. Mum knew I wanted a specific top from town so she called in here on her way so I could show her which one, and has also taken the fairy parcels to the post office for me... Love my mum! :D
  • No chance whatsoever of reading backproperly but I did see mention of Huggies little swimmers XS size, I have a pack open of these and Eloise will probably be in the next size by now so theres probably 5 or 6 if the fairies need them, prob best to PM or facebook me cos I can't keep up on here anymore.

Did a very stupid thing last night. Well I can't remember doing it but I must of!

Woke up with 2 massive burn holes in my duvet and it had burned through to my quilt too, I apparently had lit myself a cig during the night, in bed, and erm kept sleeping? I'm lucky I didn't set my flippin' self on fire! Also a good job Keira was sleeping in her bed with OH last night as I was exhausted and needed a decent peaceful sleep.

Dunno how that happened? I seriously can't remember doing that but I must of because no-one else smokes. I feel like such an idiot and will keep trying to quit. Also will be leaving cigs a million miles away from me at bed times.

Talking - they're all different! Both Joshua and Charlotte were early talkers and know loads of words. I think Charlotte is more ahead of what Joshua was. However, James barely said a word until he was 3. I was starting to get worried and then all of a sudden he got up one morning and started speaking in full sentences. Never had any problems with him since.

With Charlotte I've talked to her loads. We're off out with the dog soon and we'll talk about the trees and any other dogs she sees and stuff like that. When we are in town we'll talk about shop displays that catch her eye or look out for different coloured busses - that kind of thing. I think that helps to bring them on with speech, although it didn't work with James.

My car broke down again on Thursday. The garage rang this morning and it needs £175 worth of repairs and I can't have it back until late on Tuesday. Had to rejiggle my work and I'm going to have to go out in his car this afternoon and see how much I can get done. Nightmare!
Here I go again on my own....

Muchos ta :) Fairies will fly past one another! ;) Sod's law I've just found the other thing I was looking for (for MM) too!

My living room looks like an explosion on a baby clothes shop.. :o Having a bit of a sort out :D

OH has finally agreed to come to Asda with me as long as we go later (6-7pm) so he's watching some random film now. Probably a ploy to get me to keep sorting clothes and not sit on my bum and watch tv

Have been to pick the bread maker up so got to have a read of the recipe book and buy ingredients later :)
