    Morning all.

Carla - that made me laugh!
MM - Jas's room will be lovely. She is very lucky!

I have now changed my daughter's middle name to Houdini. Holly Houdini. How does a 4 week old manage to turn back the folded scratch mitts on her sleepsuits within 1 minute of me fixing them?! She is self harming and has managed to draw blood on her nose and cheek! Nails need cut again I think.

I thought I was safe with the turnover ones! Much less hassle than scratch mitts and can't be pulled off. How wrong! Have put her down in her moses basket again and going to wait 5 minutes. Hopefully she drop off to sleep. I didn't even get showered yesterday as she just wanted to be awake and in my arms!!! I can't complaint though as she was sleeping through the night and wanted to smile a lot yesterday so difficult to put her down! I can really notice her being much more alert in the last few days.

Got more visitors coming at midday so need to be washed and dressed by then!

At least if it was Coco Pops, it won't show if she has brown hair?!

    Morning everyone :)

Update on my poor friend stuck in hospital - she's 26 weeks, her cervix has been deemed incompetent (it was 11mm last Thursday and is 3mm this ) so she's had the steroids, is on all sorts of medication and isn't allowed out of bed even to pee. So she's pretty miserable but every day she has the wee one in there can only be an improvement. The baby's about 750g at the moment but she's in the best hospital for preemies so hopefully all will be well.

I went to bed at about 8pm last night and passed right out. Fed Molly at 1am and then retired to the sofa because she's such a noisy sleeper that I was crying from exhaustion. Papa took care of the squeaks and grunts till 6am and I was delighted for the 4+ hours of unbroken sleep.

Husband and Molly went to the supermarket early this morning and she shrieked as though she was being stabbed (apparently) in the bread aisle. Husband said he was afraid he was going to be arrested, it was so bad. She's been doing it on and off since she got home but is now napping. As we were singing to her to get her to drop off she joined in - just her little wolverine growly noises, but still - awesome.

    Baby Einstein :)

Enjoy your day everyone. We have guests coming and I'm planning a snooze when they've gone.

Hugs to Tara - it makes me so sick to think of anyone doing that. Hopefully they've satisfied themselves doing it, but it's hard to know and that's probably what they were hoping for. Bastages.

Glam, swimming pools here will only take babies from four months. Is it different near you, and where? I'd like to take Molly if only to make her object a bit less to water. Bathtime's a nightmare.

Susan, I love hearing what Alice has said. I was talking about the next baby while in recovery after the first ;)

Weeeeeeezl, Leila also says 'Ta very much' for her cube. Actually what she said was aaaaaaaah, then promptly hurled said cube across the room. Cube is now retrieved and placed in confines of baby nest, (complete with baby) where scruchy side is getting some scrunching!!

Off to Costco later, when hubby decides to roll out of bed. Of course the weekend activities have to revolve around the blinkin football. Boooooring!

Still trying to bottle feed little madam. Boobies are achy, like theyve been put through one of those pasta makers. Still, nothing a little chocolate won't fix xxxxxxxxxx
Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j
