I think she's OK but when I googled cold sweats I got stuff on cot death!

I just wondered really if this is normal at 12 weeks? You know, like growth spurt behaviour?

Ladies, sorry to pop in and not do personals but I have some queries:

Maternity Allowance. How long is it paid for? I checked online and it says UP TO 39 weeks but a mummy friend said she only got it for 6 months, not 9, so how is it worked out how long you get it for? Anyone know?

Up to, but you can go back sooner, I think - for the cases where some women are employed but haven't earned enough to get SMP. How long ago did your friend get MA? It was probably extended a few years ago when SMP was extended from 6 to 9 months :)

Can't help on the poorly LO but hope she's better soon :) Have you been away to your parents yet? How did you get on, pramwise?

YAY :j:j better get Fritha to confirm it first and find a venue big enough for us all

I'm sure I could find somewhere! Sorry ladies I can't keep up anymore so I just come on occasionally and search for my name to see if I should have responded to anything! I'm heading in the right direction for the sling library so woo hoo! But that and Shortington are taking up all my time!

Sling meet wise we're all good for Monday, under 1s are free over 1s are £2.50 (it's a discounted rate for us) if you say you're from the sling meet on the door they will change you the reduced rate :-) Any problems pm me or fb me or post with my name included and I should read it sooner rather than later! (Thanks for missing me Glam/Elle btw *gets all moist eyed*)

Oh and have I missed anything important?

Her baby is 7 months old and was sacked for being pregnant so has no SMP but she did get a settlement when she took them to tribunal so maybe that affected it? I am worried I wont; get it for 9 months now.

Visit to parents was OK - we took the pram and it was all right but we deffo need a bigger car! The chassis just about fits in my Dad's big Mercedes boot but it's crazy you need such a big car to fit it in! It does go on our back seat though so that's how we got it up there.

Elle- thanks for the link on the PM - it's out of stock now but I've put it to email me when it is back as it says the price will hold till December.

Hope Rhys is doing OK this week?

Glam's Jack has a poorly belly
Poorliness in Mel and Beccles households
    Alice has new dresses
Mooki experienced a nasty nipple/pump incident (see, mooki, noted on my mind as requested!)

    Umm... :o Still thinking..

    ETA:
Rmac is keeping fit chasing newly-mobile Annabel (hope I spelt that right :o)
Tia's OH was being an a-r-s-e, however Tia is getting over (slowly!) her ebay addiction
Tara has experienced some very nasty people recently and needs hugs
keeley's got a new broadband connection and need prayers and love for her MIL who has had a heart attack
Feelie has BF for six months and Tobes has now had toast, avacado and pear
Em has found a lovely childminder for Seth
Dylan is doing well with his physio and Jasmine is getting a newly decorated bedroom soon
Searching is on a cleaning mission
carla has a child-free day out, and (I think!) feels better for it
scruffy is homeless (due to selling her flat and not finding somewhere else yet... more viewings tomorrow)
Little Andrew had an MRI yesterday but we've not heard back from Tigs yet. He's still piling on the weight!
Bruno is lurking - I see you! - but busy busy with work and an out-of-sorts Elijah

Come on, the rest of you, help me out!
