Jack has just been to the doctors
He has a granuloma in his belly button which the HV saw the other week and said to keep an eye on. Well, it went all weepy today so we saw the GP who rubbed it with Silver Nitrate and it's now a lovely shade of grey - I need to buy a Caustic Pencil and do it every 3 days until it drops off _pale_
We also got some Infant Gaviscon because Jack is really struggling to bring his wind up after a feed, he has about 30ml and then spits bottle out and whinges like he's in pain. Spend 20minutes winding him and he has rest of bottle - but not been feeding like he normally does. GP said to add it into his bottle rather than follow the instructions.
Oh and he also suggested giving him a few drops of alcohol (sweet sherry?!) after each feed as alcohol helps with wind (it used to be in gripe water apparently!)
Jack has been awake most of the day so I'm hoping for a long sleep tonight (yea right ) although he is asleep in his car seat atm - I want him to stay asleep while I make his bottles up!
Tink - Hey you!!!! Sorry to hear about your FIL, scar problems and OH being made reduundant. My OH is out of work atm and driving me up the wall!!!
Off to RL friends tomorrow for tea and biscuits
oh and guess what?????????????????????
My Joey arrived and I remembered how to use it!! (OK the instruction book helped :shhh:)
Tia - big hugs
Tara - big hugs to you too, how awful. I remember when OH and I got together and some girls in college were really jealous, they used to do all sorts of stuff but the worst was leaving a hateful voicemail on my mobile phone - I don't know why some people are so evil.
Those expecting Glam fairy parcels - will probably be posted tomorrow or Friday. They have a heavy load of 6 parcels to send so need time to wrap them all.
Elle - The address is 'Close' - shall I send it there?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Hi all,
Perhaps you have all already thought of this, but here's a creative way to get an extra use out of a baby gym and inflatable ring. The gym has been a bit boring since sitting started, but seems to have a new lease of life:
hugs to Tara and Tia
Glam, your suggestion to make the fairy post lighter is a great one

Hugs for Jacks belly button! Funnyily enough I have a fungal infection in mine, doctor gave me a scrip to get some cream but ain't done it yet, cause I have a huge fat belly, it's hard too see into it, cause my belly button is so deep, but inside is like red raw, and weeps stinky white stuff, ewww!0 -
