Mine's 37 next month!
Mine's 44 (14 year difference), and if he doesn't stop annoying me he'll be lucky to get to 45

He's a good man and I love him very much. I just wish he was less thoughtless.
On the subject of driving instructors, I had two before giving up the lessons. My father arranged both through friends.
The first was a woman who'd apparently been told in advance that I was very nervous, and so all we did was drive in 10mph circles through a deserted industrial estate. Useless.
The second was a friend of my dad's friend and he was a horrible pervert. He was always "checking my seatbelt" across my chest and couldn't keep his hands off the gearstick (Oops love didn't mean to touch your leg there) and was mad for the dual controls so whenever I tried to change gear or brake I'd put my foot down for a pedal that wasn't there.

haven't managed to catch up tonight, sorry.
looks like a very strong possiblity that i could be doing a long haul flight on my own with baby girl in the not too distant future. i am going to need to ask for so help if that's okay.
i know r.mac went abroard recently and her comments re formula milk (buying airside) has stayed with me. i am wondering though what will happen with the stopover....can i take milk in the carton (unopened) through security?
oh i am going to stop, getting a tad upset. always said i'd go on my own if hubby couldn't get the time off but now it looks like that's the case, i am upset/petrified/worried ....
i'll come back later
xx
Oh sweetie. Is there no way hubby can get the time off? It is an awful long way to go on your own with baby girl. Is you mum still talking of meeting you in Dubai?
You can't take cartons through and you have to taste any water you take through. You can buy cartons airside but when we went Boots had sold out of stage 1 cartons (I was checking so I knew when somebody on here asked) and only had a few brands.
I took the plum pouches of food and was stopped by security. The guy said in theory he should take them off me....or at the very least I would need to open them and try them all....but then he said 'nobody is looking and I am not mean enough to take food out of your babies mouth'.
Am happy to chat about flying. I know how much you want to take LO back to Oz. You CAN do it!!! You CAN, you CAN, YOU CAN!!!!
I believe in you :A

STOPTOBER CHALLANGE ... here we go !!0 -
thanks everyone,
i just feel so stupid. i am sat here bawling (although to be fair to doesn't take much for me).
i am so angry. hubby is there to do everything for the place he works, he works a horrible amount of hours a month and never says no to them. his boss wants him to go in Jan. i am meant to be back at work then and wont get the time off as understandably i will have had near a year off by then.
i am stuck between a rock and a hardplace really. i am dying to go home to see my family and friends and so they can see bubs, but on the other hand it looks like i am going to have to take her away from her dad for over a month (nearly two) and they love each other to pieces.
mum has said if i come on my own she will met me, but i can't say i'll let her. it will be an expensive excercise as it's not as though she will have a holiday, just fly, met me in an airport and fly back.
i asked hubby to speak to his boss again tonight/morning if he sees him, otherwise i am going to have to start planning on my own.
are my options milk wise then to take powder (is that even allowed - not researched yet) and get boiled water from cafes etc and on the plane??
as for food .... bubs seems to prefer feeding herself now, but i was thinking sealed plum/ella's kitchen would have been okay because they were sealed.
just going back to check flights now0 -
