Mel: there should be a part on your childminding contract that allows a cooling off period for both the parents/carers and the childminder- its usually between 2 to 4 weeks without charge. If your childminder has used the NCMA contracts I'll be able to tell you exactly where it would say if you need me to.
Fiz: I was advised to wrap bandages around your chest as tight as you can cope with by a midwife as it'll encourage the milk to dry up quicker.
Krystal: What is the training like for the breast feeding supporter? I've been encouraged to do it but thought I'd pick your brains first if you don't mind:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009

I have been steralising by the traditional method of shoving everything in boiling water then rinsing off with cold  (pump/soothers/etc) but I think it is making the nipple sheilds lose their shape - I don't really need/want a big steraliser but thought this might be an option - unless anyone has any other ideas?

She finishes at 2 so I leave here at a quarter to if I am driving and about 25 to if I am walking !! If youre driving you have to be there early as there are only about 50 spaces and about 150 children !!!
Physio never said if I would be going in or not, I just assumed I would have to, but if I dont then thats even better :j:rotfl:The two best things I have done with my life

I did that Tesco shop thing I seen on the food and groceries bit yesterday. Signed up a new account in OH's name, went through quidco, only bought bogofs etc. Anyhow, so I get a "£50" shop for £9, but it's not really cause your buying bogofs. so technically it's a £25 shop for £9. got boxes of roses and quality streets to put away for Xmas, who's betting they get tucked into tonight? Bahahaha0

I may cry before the day is out.
Husband is throwing up and shaking from exhaustion (no fever, hasn't eaten anything unpleasant).
Baby will only sleep an hour at most before waking and being a crank (see number 1 for the effect it had on Husband).
Man is coming later to fix our boiler, despite us explaining that it's already been fixed.
Emergency cleaner can only come on Saturday.
Very Best Friend is flying in tomorrow night.
Husband's friends are coming in by train Saturday lunchtime.
I've done two loads of laundry and put one load away (the other is drying), done the dishes, wiped the surfaces in the kitchen, organised the cleaner for Saturday morning, cancelled my social time for the afternoon, fed and settled the monster five times already and there's still so much to be done it's terrifying. I'm sitting down for a minute with some tea and a rather alarming breakfast of popcorn shrimp and chilli sauce (Operation: Clear the Freezer is in full swing).
Hugs SS.
On a hopeful note the fairies are flapping their wings real hard to get to Molly soon
On an alarming note my pg tummy found the idea of your breakfast v nomnomnom
Yay for Dylan's out stretched hands!
Boo for daddies who won't see babies andfor daddies who can't see babies but would like to.
Susan, I have a jam thermometer, but I mostly use it for toffee and fudge cos I find it harder to tell 'hard crack' from 'soft crack' else.
I'm sure someone is going to make a really bad joke about the above :rotfl:
A woman at rhymetime with a 9mo is having her 2nd baby 3 days after me. We went for coffee after rhymetime to exchange thoughts and looked at double buggies in John Lewis
I am hoping I can get to know her more.
Gonna tell both sets of parents by sunday. Wish me luck
Love weezl xxxx

Lesson 1301 in baby rearing. NEVER assume it is safe to hold your baby over your head, superman styley no matter how long ago they ate. You will be vomited on from a great height and then your baby will laugh at you.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
