PS, I've been meaning to ask you all for views on gender-specific toys and clothes.
Quick poll are you:
a) gonna give boys a toy kitchen and girls a train set
b) see what LO gravitates towards
I will just see what Rose gravitates towards
c) max out on the girlie stuff for girls and boy stuff for boys
obviously, most of us are a combination, but interesting to see what you mostly are drawn to.
Also: Gender-specific clothing, do you like
a) anything very neutral, so others more guess the sex of your LO
b) lots of slogans like 'mummy's little princess'/'mummy's cheeky monkey'
c) bit of pinkness or blueness but not too hot on the slogans etc...
Not keen on slogans but mostly girly things but quite often trouser and a pretty top. I like knitted dresses at the moment and tights too x
Thanks for any thoughtsThats the name we [STRIKE]I[/STRIKE] picked for her when I was pregnant. And because she wasn't named for a week, I was secretly calling her Eve when she was in special care. DH picked Amber and (don't ever tell him) I don't really think it suits her, but he was so happy at picking a name for his baby girl!:rotfl:
I nearly named Rose, Grace and still sometimes call her it and she's 20 weeks!DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
I really want to do one for Amber, was always a 'oh wish I had done that with the boys' type thing
and also, I really want someone to buy me this for christmas

Ooh I like that tia! I been meaning to get one to represent ed as I have one for chris0 -
Weezl - b) she (and the other two) have had/can have whatever they gravitate to. DS had a hoover and washing machine which he loved for years. DD1 went through the Dolls/Barbie phase, but that has passed now, and she's in to more arty/crafty stuff.
And clothing - As DD2 is the first girl in OH's family, MIL has bought everything in sight that is pink! Also and 'Grandma's cheeky girl' t-shirt appeared last week!
I've think she suits purples/reds more so tend to buy that.
I'd like to use neutral colours, but the one time she wore blue leggings, blue striped top and green jacket, 3 people in Asda asked me what HIS name was! :mad:ManOnTheMoon wrote: »Just a quick hello. I've been mega busy, but it's all good and we are all well.
I wondered where you'd gone. I thought your tax credits had come through, and all 8 of you had b00gered off to the Bahamas! :rotfl::beer:0 -

Looks like I'm going to have a night of it, Caitlyn is very unsettled... Don't know what's wrong with her today... She did just settle herself off after the latest whinge by shoving her face in her teddy bears foot so maybe that'll keep her going a while...
She's also very close to the bottom of her sleeping bag! Good job I've got the next size up...
MOTM, fantastic news about the tax credits! Get yourself and the girls booked on a nice holiday!
Mfd, we only use the boiler thermostat for adjusting the temperature... I'm a bit dull when it comes to turning radiators up and down... When we stayed in a hotel for my brothers wedding in march I couldn't figure it out, I was 7 months pregnant and thought I might boil in my own skin!A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
