if you're not going to use them then I could def find a use for them!

We have some unused ones too (somewhere!) looking for a new home. They’re the old (but apparently better) version, came free with the steriliser.

Argh, my dishwasher's stopped working! I have only 2 clean saucepans (the giant ones you only need when batch cooking!) and I don't know where my washing up bowl or liquid are... Would of been able to sort things out earlier but madame is in a right mood today!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Righty, Rhys bathed, fed and in PJs - earliest ever!

We've been for Rhys' heart scan this afternoon. OH came with me so he could see for the first time where we've been going for all the appointments. It was with a really nice doctor who seems to adore Rhys - he just stares at him and grins proudly! :D Anyway, everything is fine - the "flappy" bit that causes his heart murmur has resealed and is all dandy, and he's just got a little hole now which is apparently nothing to worry about, something that's there is all babies and usually heals up on it's own. Doc said he'd normally discharge a baby with such a hole "but as we like seeing Rhys, we'll get him back in in 4-6mths so I have an excuse to see how well he's doing"! :) We're not worried, just another thing for the checkups list :) So hence the early bath, to wash off the scan gel :)

Have also been shopping this morning too. Used some vouchers I found on MSE for WHSmith and saved myself £15. Bought the Guiness Book of Records for £5 for Rhys' "year I was born" box, and some lovely Usborne story books for Christening presents for OH's latest godsons (for early Nov). Looked for a Bumbo tray but our Mothercare don't sell them seperately anymore so will have to order it.

Rant coming up, feel free to skip! :o

I went shopping with my mum. Really wish I hadn't :( She keeps banging on about looking after Rhys for me and making it out like I can't cope. I'm fed up of everyone (particularly my mum) looking at me with pity and saying how well I'm coping which sounds to me like "you're coping really well... compared to how we though you'd be crap at all this!" :o I'm just bringing my baby up and doing what I need to do to do that. I know all the apps, medication and everything aren't normal to everyone else but they're "Rhys normal" so I just do them.

The thing is I'm getting increasingly fed up with the whole having to be somewhere for a set time thing which is what's stressing me out and this is what my mum sees. I was never one for turning up on time anywhere (my late record at work is appauling for someone who tells off everyone else when they're late!), and I saw it as one of the (many!) plus points of maternity leave not to have to get up in the morning for a set time, and now I have to. I described it to OH as I have a tolerance of being told to be somewhere at a particular time say three times a week, anymore than that and I get ratty. That's all it is, but by the time we get to Friday I'm just a bit fed up of it :(

    Anyway, rant over..

Living room looks like a bomb's hit it (in a came in and dumped the shopping kinda way) so I'd best sort that out, then I've got birthday presents to wrap :)

Hold on, will go foraging and see what I can find..

No wonder the posties are on strike, hey! ;)

ETA: Foraging done. Found two 260ml bottles (one wrapped, one unwrapped). I'm sure there's at least one more though. Have txt my mum to ask her to look for it - the box for the steriliser is still at her house.

Just got this in an email from Argos - Comp to win a year of free toys: https://www.argostoytester.co.uk/
