Would the 18 months you completed help towards the NVQ's needed now?
I bet you did more in that 18 months than you'd need to do in total now.

Hoovering is done - tears wiped away and trauma over!

Now to start photographing excess baby equipment....
Ooh, never thought of that... Don't know if it would though, it was over ten years ago now

To be honest, I don't think I could work with children all day every day anyway... I love mine to pieces, and I'm very happy having Aimee's friends to play (which equates to babysitting for my friends lol) but I do find myself clock watching and looking forward to them going home...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

    Morning everyone :D:D

Got very confused catching up this morning thinking people were coming over to see me, then thought it was millies mum, then dawned on me that you were talking michael macintyre :rotfl: Me and Chris are seeing him at the end of the month :j Cant wait :D

Chris is sick, so I had to do the morning with both kids all by myself which would have been fine if I had known in advance so I could have gotten up a bit earlier, but I didnt so I had 45mins to get Jas up, dressed, teeth done, breakfast in her, packed lunch made, hair brushed and a quick check of her spellings for todays test, all while changing Dylans bum, making a bottle, feeding him and cleaning up sick
    I'm tired now :o

Hope you all have a lovely day :)

Oh and I wish I had kept the little things like baby bath, highchair, bouncer, and some of the nicer wooden toys etc...

okay - discussion question for the morning ladies (and Bruno if you are lurking). How much stuff are you keeping as baby gets bigger? Does this change if this is not a first baby? if you have more than one baby, what do you wish you had/hadn't kept? Thanks xxx
Do you mean for sentimentality sake or for more children?

I gave pretty much everything of Aimee's away because I had no immediate plans for anymore (what with being on my own and everything) and also because most of it was passed onto me, I thought that if I did have anymore then I would prefer to have new things...

With the exception of her pram... My Mum bought it for me, and it was in too good condition to just give away but I didn't think it would fetch much if I sold it, so we packaged it up and put it in Mum's attic... And the cot bed which Aimee was still sleeping in when I got pregnant this time...

There are a few things I wish I'd of kept now but not many really... It's nice being able to go and buy new things for Caitlyn...

And randomly, despite being absolutely adamant I don't want anymore babies... I find myself planning to keep hold of things like the nappies and package them away... 'Just in case'

We're getting rid of everything, as she grows out of it. Partly because we've got a too small house - and the ebay earnings can pay for new stuff she needs!

If I was having another - i'd keep carseat, pram, bath, unisex stuff, the expensive stuff.

I've kept all three of the childrens first babygrow and going home outfits. I find them now and again at the bottom of my wardrobe, and wonder how my smelly 12 year old ever fitted into them! :rotfl:

    Morning all!
Sorry not been on much lately. Have been reading when I can though. Feel such a terrible mum - Caitlyn fell asleep sucking her thumb the other day. Then the next day she found it again and cried whenever it came out of her mouth. Up till then I was pleased she hadn't wanted a dummy, BUT, between a dummy and her thumb I would rather it be a dummy as it can be got rid of! Anyway I gave her a dummy. I don't know why I feel so guilty, Josh had a dummy until he was about 3. Damn those textbooks for making mums feel guilty!!

Sooo jealous of those going to see Michael McIntyre! I think he's the best thing since Peter Kay - really funny!

If anything I wish I'd have kept the big things - cot, crib, bouncer etc. They're the things which cost mosy to buy again. Don't wish I'd kept the pushchair though - JOsh's would look a bit dated now, and I get some lovely comments on Caitlyns :D

If weezl is MFD by night, then we are going to miss the drunk MFD while she is pregnant :rotfl: There is little chance for her to be 'carparked' or 'bungalowed' (please tell me someone else finds that joke as funny/true as I do?!)

LO was up and down all last night. She has another tooth coming, but its a molar???? I didn't think they came in until the other front ones got here. Oh well. We have a dentist appointment ina couple of weeks time so we'll perhaps ask about it then. Our lunch/playdate has been cancelled as the twins we were visiting are ill, but we are still on for our afternoon activities which is just as well as I am thoroughly fed up of housework and washing and it's tipping it down with rain :(
OH and I use gazeebo'd ALL the time :D
Chris's teeth came in this order, front 4 (top n bottom), 1st molars, fangs and we're still waiting for the 2nd lot of molars.
We had plans to go to the big park today as it was a nice day yest but oh no it's throwing it down here too*sigh*
MacSmiler you make it sound like I am constantly fondued :rotfl::rotfl:

We are supposed to be going to see MM next Wednesday but we are struggling for a babysitter :(

    YAY for walking LO :T:T
    fondued!! :rotfl:
    I'll baby sit!!

Well I've been up for oooooo less than 30mins :D I have a bad head though (still, just didn't mention yest) My darling children are happy that Daddy is home too!!! Edgar slept through with a dream feed at 12 from 10:30 - 7am and Christopher stayed in his own bed until he got in with me at 7:30 to watch milkshake while I fed Edgar who was a bit sick (I think I near drowned him tho so understandable :p) Changed him and popped him back in the moses(yes he's STILL in it:o) and we got more sleeps. I woke up to discover that Ed can roll over!!! and I missed it :(
