((((hugs)))) MFD - it's so hard becuase you are a mum to a gorgeous boy who understandably you dont want ot leave (but you also want to have an adult work life too).
i can't bring to think about my start date because like you, i will be in tears.
it's so difficult as you need to be able to split in two to be able to fulfill both needs0 -
Oh MFD, have some dodgy hugs :grouphug:.
I don't have any words of wisdom, but I definitely felt better about going back to work once I'd found the right nursery, and knew she would be having a great time without me! (Although I wish I could stay at nursery with her and play with custard/paints/all the other babies too
) And my logical brain keeps telling me we are better of being able to pay the mortgage.
You will be fine when you go back, but it is a big change to get used to.(when you've only just got used to the big change of baby being here in the first place!)

She used to go absolutely nuts if I did it when she was a baby so I just found it easier to do when she wasn't around... Didn't seem much point in distressing her just to get a few crumbs up... Although I do have a carpet sweeper too and used to throw that around quickly if the place was a disgrace and people were coming... Still do it now in fact... And Caitlyn is not at all bothered by the hoover...
OMG Krystal I haven't seen one of those in bl00dy years!! I want one!

It has an annual management charge of 1.5% - which in my sleep-deprived state I think means that if the interest rate stays as it is now that Benjamin's £250 will be worth less than £250 when he reaches 18???

2 - Izzy is scared of the hoover (like many babies I assume!). Any advice on helping her get over it, or should I not worry about it at the moment? I try and either do it when she isn't here, or when there is someone else to cuddle her (or hoover while I cuddle her), but she just seems to be getting more scared, rather than less. We were working on the principle that if she is around when we do it she might get used to it, but now she is just scared when we bring it into the room - I don't even need to turn it on! Help!
This was how Ruby was she used to be so upset I got the stage where I wouldnt even get the hoover out when she was around but in the past week (shes 18months now) she has not bothered when I hoover - I just sit her on the settee and put the disney channel on and she finally is over her fear. So I wouldnt worry too much. She is really frightened by an advert on the disney channel for the new disney film 'up' she gets hysterical when it comes on especially when the little boy gets a plaster stuck on his eye and screams 'Im blind'

does it suit them at this age???? i actually said to hubby this morning thatyou had a hammock for B when he said that
ikea could be a possibility as the dimensions are 'friendly'
i have realised there is one about 40mins aways, although your offer is much more attractive

First of all, congratulations on getting this far!! You're doing an amazing job!Kit_Kat_Kate wrote: »Hi, I posted this before and I was recomend to post here can anyone offer advice/ experience?
I m a Mum of twins. They are 6 weeks old. I m BF them both. DD is feeding really well but DS is not latching on he is just tending to lick. Has anyone got any expereince/ advice I have looked on some BF support sites but can't find anything to help? Thanks.
Secondly, you've had some brilliant information from the folks on this thread so far... As Sami suggested, if you need immediate help then give the number in my signature a call...
If you're getting plenty of wet and dirty nappies and baby is looking well in himself, bright and alert etc then it's not a huge emergency, maybe he's feeding well but his style is different to his sisters, or he might need a bit of help to feed more efficiently... Someone face to face would be able to assess this for you a bit better... Do you know what kind of support will be at the group on Thursday?
Also, I have a friend who breastfed twins exclusively to (I think) 17months... She's always willing to offer support via email to anyone that needs it... If you pm me your email address I would be quite happy to pass it on....A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
